It was Singapore raceweekend and Lando w as in his hotelroom. It is currently 1am and he should be asleep but for the past few days everytime he sleeps he gets the same nightmare
Its always first him in the car, then he crashes and everything goes black and when everything is back he is in the pitlane and sees how he hits carlos on track. Carlos never comes out of the car. Then he is moved to the hospital where carlos is attached to wires. He gets better. But he hates Lando. He then leaves Mclaren. He goes to Ferrari and him and Lando are enemies. Well in Carlos his eyes. Lando loves Carlos. It then switches to Carlos saying hateful things about Lando to Charles. Lando hears and he starts crying. He then decides to leave. He then sees on the tv that it was for the best. Carlos says in interviews that they all are glad he left.
Then it switches to Carlos dying in a car crash. He doesnt cope, he is just numb. He cries knowing that Carlos hated him when he died. He then sees Carlos. He wants to say something. Its always the same words. Its your fault.
Thats when he wakes up. Always after that. Lando knows he should sleep, its a bog day tomorrow but is just too afraid to sleep.
Eventually he falls asleep, being so exhausted.
He wakes up at 4am. Sweating and with tears falling down his cheeks. He is shaking and he can tell that is he on the edge of a panic attack. He had the nightmare again and it was just as hurtful as the last 10 times he had it.
He knows Carlos is just across the hall but he doesnt want to bother him so he tries to calm himself down.
Nothing is working though and thats when he gets even more scared. He is lightheaded and dizzy. The tears wont stop and he cant stop shaking. Fuck it. He is going to Carlos.
He stands up with shaky legs and walks to his door. He walks out and goes to Carlos his door and knocks.
Carlos hears a knock. Its 4am? Who is awake at 4am? He decides to check anyway. He opens the door. Lando. Shaking and crying. 'Shit Lando what happened' He asked while he lets him inside. Lando just sobs. They move to the bed and Carlos wraps Lando in his arms. 'Oh you're shaking mi amor' He states and rubs his hands up and down landos arm. He hugs him tighter. Lando accepts it. 'What happened mi amor, can u tell me' Carlos asks softly. Lando nods and then starts to tell him about the nightmare. He also says he has these for the last 2 weeks. 'Oh Lando, you know you could have gone to me before?' 'I know i just didnt want to bother you' Lando mumbles. ' You would never bother me, and everything in that nightmare is fake. Im still here and i could never in whatever universe hate you Lando. You are the prettiest and kindest human here and anyone would be lucky to be your friend.' Carlos states. Landos eyes water at that. ' You really mean that?' he asks with a small voice. ' Yes Lando, i mean that. I also mean it when i say that i love you mi amor. I know u always act like you never hear it but it a fact Lando.' Carlos says then. Landos breath hitched. Carlos loves him? As more then a friend? ' As a friend?' Lando asks. 'No lando much more' Carlos states. Lando blushes and then saysn ' I love you too' He mumbles a bit. Carlos hums and then kisses his forehead. ' Go to sleep mi corazon, ill be here when u wake up' Carlos says. Lando nods and lays down with Carlos. His head on his chest. They fall asleep quick wrapped up in each others arms.
