I was in a passenger rocket taking off to go to Mars. Suddenly heard people screaming and smoke everywhere. I began to panic, as I heard a incredibly loud beeping noise. I knew that beeping from somewhere, I just couldn't place it. I realized after thinking for a while that it was my alarm clock. Within realizing that I woke up from a dream, I was relieved it WAS a dream. We were ordered not to bring anything with us to Mars. We would all start out with the same amount of money and same level of housing. After that we would earn and spend as we wish. I was sad I was leaving earth for it to get bombed, but I kind of liked the idea of getting my own house and a job at the age of 15. I still never found out if Chase was approved to go to Mars. I left the house not worried about the belongings I left behind, or Chase for that matter. I took the public bus to the space station. I walked through metal detectors, scanners, pat-downs, among many other security drills. I was finally assigned a seat on passenger rocket number 3, seat 217. I guess I would just have to find out if Chase was approved, because I did leave the house before he woke up. I suddenly felt as if I was about to break out in tears for forgetting to say goodbye to him. I was boarding the passenger rocket when I noticed I knew nobody on my rocket. I looked around after finding my seat and sitting down. Everyone had sat down within 10 minutes. We went through safety drills and rules, when I started drifting off to sleep. I mean, the trip was going to last a week with today's modern rocket technology.
