*Ellie POV*

"I thought you loved me!" I screamed at him, hitting the wall as hard as I possibly could. I was almost sure I put a small hole in it. "I do! It didn't mean anything, I swear! She came onto me!" My boyfriend Cody told me. "Bullshit Cody! She told me everything that happened. She's my best friend, can't you see that? Do you even understand how pissed off she is at you? She has a boyfriend, and obviously you forgot that you were mine." I couldn't take his crap anymore. I grabbed my bag and ran towards the front door. "Can we at least talk about this? I mean, I love you." He said, through what sounded like tears. I winced. "Let's face bloody reality, Cody. You never did love me." "But Ellie, I-" "I'll be back for my things later." And with that, I grabbed my car keys and left.

*Cody's POV*

"I'll be back for my things later." She told me. That right there killed me. I sat on my couch, getting swallowed by all of the thoughts that were washing over me. I stared at the door, as if she's gonna come back. Should I go after her? Aw forget it, I told myself.

*Ellie's POV*

I turned the radio up loud. 'I Knew You Were Trouble' by Taylor Swift filled my ears. "You know Taylor, this really isn't helping the situation." I told myself. Instead, I inserted my dance mix CD into the player. Immediately, 'Call Me Maybe' by Carly Rae Jepsen came on. Oh, how I love that song! I kept on driving deeper into the city of Melbourne. I needed somewhere to stay, badly. I pulled over to the side of the road, and immediately called my best friend, Luke Brooks.

Oh yeah, did I forget to mention?
