"So are you going to go to Brandon's New Year's Eve party?" my best friend Mandy asked.
"Umm, I don't really know, do you know who is going?" I asked distracted.
"Just a few people, Jake, Collin, Destiny, and Jessica, I think that's it." Mandy said.
"Well if Jake is going then so am I!" I exclaimed loudly.
"Emma, you practically just screamed that" Mandy said as she held back laughter.
"Mandy, did i really?" my eyes opened wide and my jaw dropped.
"Uh yeah, you did." Mandy said akwadrly.
"Well, at least nobody heard me" I smiled sheepishly. "Well i've got to study for my Spanish test, see you later!" i told her then walked away.
I can't wait until the party! My long-time crush, Jake Michaels was going to the party so of course I was going! I had liked Jake since the beginning of 6th grade. He was soo cute. He had wavy brown hair and blue eyes like the color of the ocean. Okay, so maybe i'm exaggerating a little bit, but i've liked him for a while so give me a break!
There is just one little problem about me liking Jake. You see, he has a girlfriend. She is the "queen bee" of our school. I probably sound kinda rude saying that, because i'm considered one of her friends, but she can be a b*tch when she wants to. She has blonde hair, blue eyes, is super thin, and her family is pretty well off if you know what i mean. So basically, she's everything i'm not. Her name is Samantha.
I quickly walked to Spanish class because if I didn't hurry I would be late.
