I grabbed my phone to check our GC. Today is the entrance exam of Pearls of Wisdom Academy for incoming Grade 9. For the past two years, my learning modality was online class, but since face-to-face classes are now allowed, I joined in. Our class schedule starts at 6:00 AM and ends at 12:15 PM

Pearls of Wisdom has specialization. STE which means Science Technology and Engineering, lahat ng nandiyan, matatalino. Next is SPFL, Special Program in Foreign Language, where you can learn 2 languages, it's either Spanish or Mandarin. Me and my friend, Kanaia chose Spanish because it's more easier than Mandarin.
Since Grade 4, mag-kaibigan na kami ni Kanaia. Hindi kami napag-hihiwalay dahil lagi akong nakadepende sa kaniya. I'm an introvert that's why.
Nang makarating ako sa School ay nakita ko agad sila Kanaia, Kystré, and Serenity na nag-hihintay sa tapat ng gate. Kumaway ako sa kanila kaya agad nila akong nakita at nilapitan.
"Ang bagal mo! Kanina pa kami dito." Reklamo ni Kanaia kaya napairap ako. Kystré and Serenity became our friends because we're classmates. Kami kasi ang laging laman ng Students GC namin sa 8-Pizarro. Kys was the top student in our class. While Kanaia and I we're High Honor students. Seren is Honor Student.
Pumunta na kami sa room number na sinend ni Ma'am sa GC namin. We're all confident since we know what we're capable of.
After 1 hour of taking exams, we're already done! Napag-pasyahan naming kumain muna sa restaurant dahil lunch na.
"The exams aren't that hard." Kys said while we're eating.
"Sana lang mag-kakaklase pa rin tayo." Sabi naman ni Seren kaya napabuntong hininga kami.
"Hindi naman siguro nila tayo paghihiwa-hiwalayin." Kanaia shrugged.
After 1 week, lumabas na ang results ng exam namin kaya naging excited kami.
knaimra: Ginawa nilang alphabetical ung section natin kaya maghahalo ung dating 8-Pizarro tsaka 8-Cervantes.
Me: No! 'Di tayo pwedeng mahiwalay!
knaimra: We can't do anything about it.
That's really sad. Hindi ko inakala na darating ung araw na mag-hihiwalay din kami. But atleast, magka-lapit lang kami ng room. EJ 1 kami, EJ3 sila, ung EJ 2 naman mga Mandarin.
Sunday came, I'm getting ready because I'm going at our Church. Every Sunday, I'm getting excited because finally, I will see him after 6 days. Hade and I are part of our church choir. Since Grade 5, I have a crush on him, until now. Gumawa pa nga ako ng dump account para makaamin sa kaniya. Naging magtalking-stage kami, kaso ghinost ako dahil hindi naman ako nag-papakilala sa kaniya.
Alam kong that time, nakakahalata na siya kaya tinigil ko na rin. Kadalasan, kaya ako nag-popost ng story sa IG, para magpapansin lang. Kaya din ako nag-SPFL dahil ito ung specialization niya nung Junior High siya, ngayon kasi Senior High na siya.
Maaga akong dumarating sa church namin dahil nga excited ako kahit hindi kami nagpapansinan, which is okay lang naman saakin dahil crush lang naman.
After 10 minutes of waiting, dumating na din siya. He's moreno, I think 5'7 ung height niya, he's also smart and he's a basketball player.
Napasinghap ako nang tumingin siya saakin kaya umiwas ako ng tingin.
After 1 hour, natapos na rin kami. Alam kong hinihintay na ako ni Kanaia dahil napag-usapan naming sabay mamili ng school supplies dahil pasukan na bukas.
"I'm excited for tomorrow, but of course, a little bit nervous." I said while we're shopping.
"Me too. Especially that we're not classmates." She sadly said.
"It's okay. Magkalapit lang naman room natin." I cheered her up.
"Sayang nga hindi ko na maaabutan si Hade sa school dahil mag-kaiba ang gate natin sa gate ng seniors." She just tsked at my statement.
"Kass, why can't you just find a new crush? Marami pa namang iba diyan." She said causing my eyeballs to roll.
"No thanks." I shortly replied.
