Me and Ali had been in the "just friends zone" for a long time now. I really want to put our friendship to the next level. Today we went to our favorite shopping areas alone. I was scared at first, considering the last time I was alone with her was when we kissed in the library, but then I realized I could be just be myself. She looked perfect. She always wants her to improve in what she is wearing or her looks. Today, we decided to wear no makeup and wear sweat pants and our hair in buns while we shopped. It felt amazing just being... me.
"Oh that is really cute" I said "but that's a lot of money!"
"Em what are you talking about." she replied "it's only $200"
We both busted out laughing. And the thing is, it felt like no one was around we were by our selves for once. We were laughing so hard we dropped the pile of t-shirts lying next to us. While we picked them up we made eye contact. It felt like we sat there forever looking into each other's eyes, but really it was only 15 seconds in till I leaned in and kissed her.
