Eddie woke up with an empty space next to him. He immediately got up and went into the kitchen, expecting Steve to be there, only to find a note on the counter.

Sorry, Robin was worried so I'm at her place for a bit, I'll be back later.
-xoxo, Steve.

Even though he was still a little sad that he left without saying bye, he was glad Steve was seeing his other friends. It had been a couple days since he hung out with Robin outside of work, which was odd because usually the two were seen together everyday. Eddie decided on watching TV until Steve got back.

"You didn't even answer my calls!" Robin yelled as he walked through the door.

"How many times am I going to have to apologize?" Steve asked, "I'm sorry I was busy but I promise I'll make it up to you!"

Robin gave him a glare before deciding to let it go. "I was thinking maybe we could go roller skating later and invite Eddie to go with us?"

"I'm not sure that's his thing, Rob. He might go but I don't think he'd enjoy it." He said, uncrossing his arms.

"Well it doesn't hurt to try. And if he doesn't like it, he can choose what we do the next time we hang out."

"Yeah, fair enough."

Robin called the skating rink to ensure them a spot while Steve sat across from her listening to the call.

"Yup! Four tickets. We'll be there at 6:00 to pick them up."

After she hung up, Steve immediately questioned her. "Four? I thought it was going to be me you and Eddie?"

"I invited someone else too."

"Who?"

"That's for me to know, Stevie Boy."

He decided not to question any further since it's Robin and she'd never tell him no matter how annoying he was.

"It's almost 3:00 now so go find Eddie and get yourselves cleaned up, we'll all meet back here at 5:30." After giving Robin a hug, he was out the door.

"Eddie? I'm back" He called out as he walked through the door, setting his keys on the counter.

"In here." Eddie called back from his room.

Steve opened the door, finding Eddie shirtless, looking through his closet for a shirt. He took a minute to look at his tattoos, the ones he forgot he had, and damn were they hot.

"Take a picture, it'll last longer." Eddie said, smiling at him.

"I'd rather stare at them in person a million times."

"I'm glad you're back."

"Yeah, not to sound clingy but I missed you."

"Yeah, me too. Thanks for the note by the way, I was worried for a second before I saw it."

"It's the bare minimum I could do. Also, that reminds me, Robin wants to know if you'd like to go roller skating later? I told her you might go but-"

"Roller skating? Hell yeah!"

"Oh. I didn't know you liked roller skating. I'm glad you do though, it's one of my favorite things to do."

After talking a little more about random things, Steve got himself a shower and made sure to put on his brightest clothes, since the skating rink they were going to had mainly blacklights.
