Emelie woke the next morning to an empty common room. At first she'd thought that everyone was still sleeping but when she saw Neville in the corner of the common room he'd told her otherwise.
"Morning Neville. Everyone's already down in the Great Hall aren't they?", she'd asked him once she noticed the room was vacant.
"Oh, good morning Emelie. I believe they are".
Now, Emelie was heading towards the Great Hall desperate to catch a glimpse of any interesting situations that may be happening while adjusting her tie.
She was disappointed though because as she walked into the Great Hall, the tables were back in their normal eating positions, the Goblet of Fire still in the upper middle of the crowd of students eating at tables.
"Came downstairs early just to have this happen", Ron told Emelie as she sat down, gesturing towards the house tables.
"Why are the tables back here though? Did the schedule of putting your names in the cup change?". Hermione shook her head.
"No, champions still have 24 hours to put their names in; Dumbledore just wanted to make sure he didn't interfere with breakfast so he put the tables back".
"Oh", Emelie said, "But then why is everyone so upset?".
"only Fred and George are upset. they came up with this brilliant plan to sneak their names in and they're just mad that they can't do it yet", Ginny replies, pouring pumpkin juice in her cup.
Emelie nods in her slow understanding, putting a variety of foods on her plate. She eats just now, taking notice of the Beauxbatons and Durmstrang students indulging in their own food.
"You see her right there?" Hermione interrupts suddenly. "That's Fluer Delacour, everyone says that she's the most beautiful part-veela and is destined to be the Beauxbatons champion". Emelie looked over at the Ravenclaw table until she finally spotted a girl whom she realized must be Fleur.
She had platinum blonde hair tied into a tidy pigtail, blue, icy eyes, and the most breathtaking round face Emelie had ever seen. No wonder she's the most beautiful part-veela, Emelie thought to herself.
"If I looked like that, I'd be destined to be the Hogwarts champion as well", Emelie replies, making Hermione giggle, but only slightly.
Breakfast is soon finished and Emelie hurriedly heads off to her morning class, Defence Against the Dark Arts.
When she arrives in Moody's classroom, she's surprised to find no students but instead Moody talking to two other men; one that Emelie recognized as Bartemius Crouch Snr. and the other Emelie had never seen before.
"Yes, I'd agree-oh Ms. Fawley". Moody looks startled at Emelie's appearance.
"Uh, hello. I might be mistaken but is there class today?", Emelie asks, appearing quite nervous out of the blue.
