Once upon a time...
A light breeze once blew across the land, the sun shining brilliantly in the summer heat. The forest buzzed with life, untouched by human hands. Flowers bloomed abundantly and deer freely roamed about. Fairies fluttered their wings without fear of capture.
As well as other creatures that skittered about in mushroom hats.
It seemed as if it was a paradise of green. A peaceful land far away from the clutter and battles in the west. As well as any other life forms besides the indigiouse animals and others.
Of course this would change in the coming years-as something as special as this could not go untouched for long. And the once blue sky would become grey and dreary. Tall, dead like trees and animal carcasses would become the new norm. The once clear water, once so clear and refreshing-now poisoned and swampy.
The glitter of wings ceased and scampering feet turned to whispers. The wind now bitter and frosty, the sun's blistering heat and humidity making the experience all the worse.
Once upon a time...
A star fell from the sky.

Error groaned as he started to come back to reality. He was face first in the ground and clumps of tar stuck to him like glue.
He slowly moved his fingers-and then the rest of his body in an attempt to stand up. Of course, having overestimated his strength:he ended up just getting himself even messier. If that wasn't enough,he had opened up old wounds.
His body absolutely flared.
"FUCK"
He curled up into a tight ball, biting back tears. Yet he did not cry, people like him weren't allowed too.
A few pained moments later and Error decided to get a move on. He didn't know where he was-why he was here. He should have been in his antivoid,as he finally managed to catch a break. Yet something just had to ruin everything didn't it?
Deciding that now wasn't the time to dwell on his continuing misfortunes,he found it best to start looking around.
Nothing but some stupid barren land was presented in front of him. Everything seemed to be very much dead-useless even.
"Should be relatively easy for me to eradicate later...."
Error attempted to summon a portal, unfortunately for him it didn't work. Nor,did any of his measly attempts work. He tried to summon anything-bones,blasters,and even his strings.
The bone attacks came out uneven and uncoordinated. The blasters-if he could even call them that anymore-were small and feeble, babyish in a way. They circled around him and tried snuggling up in his scarf.
Disgusting
Sadly, that wasn't even the worst of it. His once feared strings, now laid limp and useless at his side. Their blue glow now dull against the gray land.
A wave of frustration washed over him.
His magic reserves were perfectly fine, they were almost maxed out even. SO,why wasnt it working...?!
If he could go on a destruction spree he would. But guess what. Oh! That's right his magic mysteriously stopped working! Oh Joy! He was sure having the time of his life right now. It wasn't like he was wide open to attack. Might as well have a sign on his back that says 'FREE XP!'
He decided to blame his predicament on ink. That little rat was alway responsible for everything anyway.
With a heavy and drawn out sigh he started walking. He didn't know where yet-he just needed to cool off. And since there was nowhere to direct his 'feelings',he found it best to just walk. He hoped that, perhaps, everything would sort itself out.
Dream had told him sometimes hope was all someone had.
Now,he didn't really listen to any advice dream would give. He only stuck around because nightmare was so keen on him getting 'valuable intel.' But he would be lying if-every once in a while-he did quite enjoy Dream's presence.
However, once nightmare found out about his every so jolly change in mood-the visits stopped. Of course, error wasn't obligated to obey nightmare,he was the destroyer after all. He wasn't even an official member of the emo squad.
Yet,he did still acquire nightmares assistance(no matter how much he hated to admit it).
So he went back to his anti-void,and sulked. That was what he did best after all,and what Nightmare wanted him to do. Not that Error really had any control over his feelings. They came and they went, often showing up at the wrong time.
Error really hated the fact nothing good stayed for long.
He hated that he couldn't do anything against nightmare.
He hated that his only home was a white purgatory.
He HATED that he was stuck here, powerless.
He could only hate so much. He could only dream of ever having any illusion, of control over his life. Sometimes,he wished he was ignorant. As knowledge is a curse in a blessings disguise.
Having been in thought for a while,Error found himself in a middle of the forest
lost

The cover for this is currently being worked on,hopefully should come out sooner then later.
This will be a little different, mostly I am taking it a tad bit slower and trying to build up the world and characters. I wanted to give error a personality-not sure If I Did it right but I will try.
Hope you enjoy ;]
