It had been fourteen hours, three minutes and thirty-five seconds since the Anderson family had left Westbrook. It hadn't even been a full day since they had left, but if felt like they had been gone for years to Leo.

His dad's new plumbing job offered a hefty salary and a fresh new start, so of course Leo's dad was going to take it. But, everyone in the family seemed content with the idea with the fresh new start, except for Leo, who was quietly sulking in the backseat.

Dancing in Westbrook was one of the best things Leo had ever experienced. Ballet was an amazing feat, and he'd made so many fantastic friends, and for once, Leo was popular.

But, Leo wasn't very angry when his father told him that they were moving to Florida. Westbrook was a small town, and whenever Dunphy Murray, the school bully, gave him his nickname...it definitely stuck.

His nickname was - Leo The Giant. It was embarrassing to be called a giant, but Leo couldn't help but think it was true. Leo stood at a sturdy 6'4" and for high school, that was a giant. Everyone, even the freshman class, knew him as Leo The Giant.

It wasn't the name that upset him. The constant states and side glances that everyone gave him made Leo uncomfortable, and he couldn't help but feel like an eye of a hurricane. He wasn't being vain, because this was sort of true. Girls would swarm around him, and he couldn't help but feel like none of them really mattered. All that mattered was dancing.

But, now that he was unloading the car, Leo couldn't help but think about ballet again. He couldn't help but think about how he'd been able to relieve every kind of stress he'd ever had with dancing, but could it remove the stress of moving?

-
Apparently so. Once he had gotten all of his boxes out of the mini van, he went into his new room and started to warm up, and for a second he thought he was in Georgia again. He imagined himself in this studio with Miss Jenny, and he could almost hear her voice instructing him - but then, the doorbell rang.

He let his mom get it, but couldn't focus. Who could it be?

Whenever he turned the corner, he saw a girl with dark brown hair waiting in the door way. His mom waved him over, and she stepped up and stuck her hand out.

"Hi! I'm Brittany - Brittany Kelly!"

"Oh - uh, hi, I'm Leo." He shook Brittany's hand, and ushered her in. He could at least try to make one friend.

[I know Leo's real name is Kevin (I think so at least) but I'll put him as Leo in this fic, so people won't be confused!]
