Chapter 38

The young Alpha kneeled down before the leader of Yokohama's most powerful underbelly group.

"You called for me boss" – he said in a very stoic tone.

The raven-haired Alpha turns his chair around to face the other "I'm happy to see that you're back on your feet Akutagawa-kun, are you feeling okay now, or perhaps you need more rest?" – he asked with a menacing tone.

"No, I'm ready to work boss"

Mori then stands up and without any word, he presses the remote which quickly made Akutagawa falls to the ground and squirm in pain. He then said "I heard what you did"

"S-stop... urgh..."

"Conspiring with my other executive to kill my Omega, you know how I hate when people work behind my back, without my permission, without my order!" – his eyes became darker and he releases pheromones that intimidate other Alphas.

It is not that Mori is angry because they attempted to kill Chuuya but because for him what Akutagawa did is a betrayal and he hated it so much.

The older Alpha turns off the remote "Now, I could just kill you right here right now but I won't do it because you're the only other Alpha that this organization has, it would be such a waste and I still need you" – he said.

Akutagawa is trembling in pain but he manages to prop himself up to look at the boss.

"Listen to me, the reason why I called you here is I have a mission for you" – the older Alpha said "I need you to bring someone to me and I want you to do it right this time, if you fail this mission you will pay me with your life"

The lady doctor saw Atsushi's phone and wallet at the bedside table which gave her an idea as to why the young Omega is there, she entered the room and took it "Don't tell me you forgot these again" – she said as she handed them over.

The silver-haired boy smiled meekly "Y-yeah"

"Did you come back here alone?" – asked Dazai.

"No, Tanizaki-san and Kenji-kun are at the café downstairs waiting for me" – he then bows down "I'll be leaving now, good night Dazai-san, Chuuya-san"

Both the Alpha and Omega responded with a low tone. Yosano escorted the boy to the door of the agency leaving the two.

As soon as the door of the infirmary closes, Chuuya was quick to punch Dazai on the stomach "Calling me pestiferous and handful you dumb Alpha!" – he snarled.

Dazai chuckled as he crouches down in pain "But you are"

"No I'm not!" – the ginger shouted until his angry face turns to the sad one "We lied to him" – he mumbled.

The brunette stops laughing and then stands up "Chuuya"

"Will he be alright?"

"What do you mean?"

"Come on mackerel, you're not that stupid to not know that Atsushi... he likes you... he must be hurt by what he saw" – he said in a low tone.

The Alpha quickly pulls the Omega and hugs him once again "Call me selfish but I don't care about anyone else because it's you I want, you're the only one I love" – he said.

That almost made the small male into tears "But still—"

The brunette tightens his embrace and with a serious tone "I've waited for so long to be with you again and now that you're here, now that you gave me another chance, I will never let anyone or anything take you away from me ever again"
