Having to go in everyday to check into the city hall was hard work. Ever since the government started tracking your every move and having to be inside your house by 8:30pm was annoying. There was 7 of us in my family including me. My father died when I was 13 and I'm the oldest at 17 now.

I have 3 brothers (Brain, Kaden, and Adam) and 2 sisters (Maggie, and Faith) and my mom Katie. I want to just run away to a different world were the government wasn't watching you.

"Miley Lincoln, please step onto the platform." Said the government official. I stepped onto the platform. "I'm official Gray and I will be 'taking care of you today'." Official Gray said rolling his eyes. He swatted down and lifted up my pant leg a little over my ankle, which reveled my tracking ankle bracelet. He took his thumb and pressed it up to the scan pad on the bracelet. It unhooked. God it felt so good to have that stupid thing off. I wish I could run, just run away to place that I didn't have to be tracked like everyone else.

He took the bracelet off and and changed a piece in it. Then put it back on. Great.

"Now lift up your hair." He demeaned.

I lifted my hair put and just put it in a pony. He started poking at my neck till he found my other tracking device that was I'm planted in my neck to make sure it was still working.

"Okay your cleared." He said. "Please step off the platform and head out to your right. Be home by 8:30."

"Thank you" I said. He nodded.

I started walking home. I looked up at the sky trying not to notice all the video cameras on my sidewalks and streets. I need to stop this mess.
