The Journey

            I sat down thinking about my life, life has really been unfair I was going to a boarding school after a year of being with my mom in Ghana I joined her when I finished basic three in Nigeria, then I was staying with my  Grandma and my mom's  siblings in the village, my grandma was very nice to me and a very wonderful person to be with I was happy there, coming to Ghana was a nice experience being with my mom. I was going to a boarding school in Ghana very far away from my mom   I didn't want a boarding school though but my mom was always busy with work that most times I stayed with a nanny that takes care of me when she is away,so when I finished basic 5 in Ghana my mom and grandma thought that a boarding would be better for me Maybe they were wrong about me I have always been quite and shy around people but I was quite smart very smart.
          I was going to the school to write my exams to be qualified to enter I wore my best dress with my hair packed nicely ohh I forgot to tell you guys that I love fashion alot I take whatever I wear serious and how I look matters alot to me, Daisy Daisy my mom called me I came back from  thought, yes Mom I'm coming just need to finish up I ran to meet her outside I'm ready to go mom, why were you wasting my time my mom asked my mom can be very sweet but sometimes annoying I was just dressing up nothing much, she looked at me and she locked the doors and we left for the new school the drive to the school was quite and a long one believe me we are not rich just average not poor not rich just normal  finally we got to the school I came down from the car a beautiful woman came to us, Hi  Good afternoon ma this must be ur daughter welcome to our school please follow me to my office
We followed her to the office, please sit down and what's your name She asked me
Daisy I said without a smile
Well I'm miss Jenifer and I'm the  principal of the school and please smile don't worry you will like the school I promise so hope you are ready for your exams
Yes ma'am I'm ready she gave me the papers and I looked at it the questions were easy not too tough apart from the mathematics I hate mathematics with everything in my blood It took me two hours to finish up and I submitted and they checked it and I did well I was admitted they gave my mom the things I needed to buy that will be useful in school for me so with that I went home I met some students downstairs they were looking at me whispering some words which I didn't bother to listen, I went home with my mom.
