Kurama's (Naruto) POV
I smell bacon... and toast... man Gai is the best, Kakashi Sensei should just have him move in.

He got up to wander out to the kitchen. This was the fourth day in a row just like this. He'd wake up to the smell of Gai cooking, him Gai and Kakashi would eat together, then go train together. It was nice. Calm.

G "Gggggoooooooooddd morning! How do you like your bacon? Soft? Crispy? Burnt?"

KN "Mmm, whatever works, I just like food ya know?"

G "Alright then, we'll go right in the middle! Kakashi, the usual?"

K "Yeah. Burnt. Just like my will to live."

KN "You know, now that I think about it..."

K "You think?"

KN "I- rude. Is this why you're always late? Cause you always have breakfast with Gai?"

K "Sometimes it has to do with it, I wouldn't say it's the main reason."

G "And breakfast is served! Eat well, today is another tireless day of training!"

G "A scavenger hunt!"

K "Alright, what's the scavenger hunt then?"

G "Here's the list! First person to successfully gather all the items chooses dinner for tonight!"

KN "Hey Gai, don't you have students to train?"

G "Ah yes, my lovely youthful students have the week to themselves. Neji had some family business, Lee wanted to practice his self rules independently, and Tenten has been asking for a week to herself for awhile. I have no doubts they will keep working though nonetheless, they have big goals and they work tirelessly towards them!"

KN "Huh, neat. Alright when are we starting?"

G "We will start in... 321GOOOOO!"

KN "He's doing it this way again?"

K "You'll learn to roll with it. Let's go."

KN "Yeah."
