A warm, bright sun light washed throughout the tropical land of Hawaii. I breathed in a clear, fresh air as I closed my eyes
"Momma!" I turned and opened my eyes to see a little brunette running at me, hugging my thighs with her tanned, thin arms. I smiled as I bent over, picking her up
"Where did Daddy go, Billie?" I asked, looking at my daughter's small face. In my honest opinion, she was the cutest thing on Earth. Billie smiled a little, closing her small, brown eyes that matched her hair
"He went to get food for us," she responded. I let my smile fade a little, but it still was there
"Your father..." I sighed and let her back down carefully so her light, blue sun dress wouldn't fly up. Billie laughed
"Should I go get him?" she asked, a small bit of worry in her adorable voice. I shook my head, pointing to a figure walking up to us. I walked up to the black haired man "Daddy!"
"Dave, you didn't need to..." I poked at a brown bag he held
"Ha, don't worry sweetie, I'm not saying I don't like you cooking-" he stopped to kiss my head "I'm just giving you a day off from it," Billie tugged at my arm
"Come on lovebirds, let's go home!" she said "I'm soooooo hungry!" Dave and I smiled, nodding our heads a little towards each other as I followed the 'guide' back to the house.
