Chapter 8

There were sirens going off from all directions. I couldn't hear or see anything or anyone. All I remember was falling asleep on the couch with Cameron. Now I'm .. In the back of an ambulance?! What the hell is going on. I tried to move but I was tied down. I looked over and Cody was next to me. "Whe..where's cam..Cameron.?" I stuttered. I think they drugged me. I was feeling kinda loopy. "She's awake!" Cody yelled to the ambulance person. "No. No!" I yelled. "Stopp!" I yelled to the paramedics . "Stop screaming." I said more calmly. Next thing I knew.. It was pitch black.

I woke up in a hospital bed and I was more aware of my surroundings. I looked in my food trey and it said to press this button when I wake up. So I did. Nothing happened so I pressed it again, and again, and again. Soon the lady came in laughing. "You only had to push it once sweetie". She told me. "Oh sorry, but why am I here? What happened?" I asked her. Her name tag said Mary .
She didn't answer me . She only glanced at me then untied me and told me to sit up. I did as I was told. I heard a very familiar voice. Cameron? I asked myself. No. It was just Cody. He probably got me into this mess. "Cody!" I called for him. I felt I should be mad then I feel I should be worried. "Why am I here!" I asked again. "Hellooo!?" I was getting irritated now. Nobody is answering me. What the fuck is going on? Where is Cameron? Why am I here? Am I okay? What happened? Is Cameron okay? Is Cody mad at me? Did I do something ?. These thoughts kept going around and around and around in my heads. I need answers.
I stopped and realized what was happening. I was in the hospital. I still didn't know why but i was about to find out. "Where is she?!" I heard someone yell. I looked over out the glass of my room and saw Cameron running towards my room. I somehow let a smile appear on my face. "Cameron." I said weakly. "Maelynn" he said sensitively. "Why am I here? What happened?" I asked. "Y-you had an a-anxiety attack. "He stuttered. I've had anxiety since I was little and never knew it could be this bad. I'd say this was by far, the worst one yet. The nurses came in and gave me my medicine. "Thank you." I told them. "No problem honey. How you feeling?" She asked me. It was the nice nurse Mary still , so I didn't mind talking to her. Plus, I had Cameron right there next to me. "Im okay now. Now that I have who I need." I said referring to Cameron. Ever since Cody yelled telling the paramedics I was awake he hasn't been seen in a while by anybody. I wonder what happened to him. Why was he so mad earlier? I decided to ignore it and take time to find out what happened to me first before asking about everyone else. "What happened after I fell asleep cam?" I asked.
"Well I couldn't sleep and I didn't want to keep you up so I watched some movies and checked my Twitter. You started sweating really bad and twitching. " he said. "I thought you were just having a bad dream." He continued. "Then I called Cody to see if you had any medical issues. When i found out you have anxiety I immediately called 911. I panicked. After I got off the phone with the paramedics , I saw you were not moving . I got so
Scared. I had no idea what to do. Once they arrived they took you and Cody who had just got to my house. And he rode with you. They said no visitors until about an hour. Cody texted me when you woke up and it was after about 45 minutes. I didn't take no for an answer. I came up here as fast as  I could and almost ended up in the same spot you are. I avoided many accidents to get here to you. Maelynn I love you so much and I so happy your awake and okay. The doctors said if I didn't call right away you could have stopped breathing completely and I did the right thing to call and just in time too. And here I am telling you how I saved your life." Cameron said with a tear rolling down his face while forcing a smile. I was also tearing up a little. "Cameron." I started. "I love you so much. And thank you so much." I told him.
"Anything for my baby." He said now actually smiling. His smile made my heart melt. He is all around perfect. I love him so much and I don't know what I would do without him.
