"How could you do this? You're a monster."
Johnny frantically walks throughout the room with his hands on his head.
"This was your fault," I say to the foolish boy. "You're the reason this happened." Blood is splattered all over the cracked floor. "I killed that girl for a reason. She died for a reason. I did what I had to do, Johnny. There are two guys in this room. One with the guts to get his hands dirty for the greater good and one little frack afraid to do anything. Guess who's who?"
Johnny takes extreme offense to that. "You don't care about the greater good. You don't care about anything but yourself."
I am not going to take this. I take a nearby chair and hurl it at him. It scrapes him on the side, leaving a bruise along the way. He is able to dodge most of the hit but it pushes him to the ground. I capitalize on this opportunity in a moment's notice. I pin him to the ground and start to beat the life out of him. He is defenseless. His blood clots start to add to the already existing blood. With every punch, the brightness slowly fades from his eyes. Right as he is about to pass out he whispers something to me with all the strength he could possibly have.
"No one ever loved you. Is that why you're so heartless? Is that why you kill so easily? There's a girl dead on your floor and you're beating the life out of your best friend. What have you become? The Dave I met would never do this. I guess the good in you is gone forever. "
Surprisingly, with a sudden burst of energy he pulls out a sharp house key and clashes it with my skin. I wail in pain. This will definitely leave a scar. With those words and that action, I bottle up my anger and say one last thing to him before making him pass out.
"You say this like I'm a villain. I protected you. I saved you and this is the thanks I get. You're pitiful. One day. I don't know when and I don't know how, but I will find you and I will destroy you and everything you have ever cared about."
