i'm not alone.

the truth hurts.

I woke up feeling groggy. I squinted as I looked at the clock on the white table by my head the little red clock read 9:30.

"Fuck, I slept in!" I whined rolling out of my bed.

I sprawled out on the ground for a minute, whats a minute going to hurt, I thought.

When I finally got up mom yelled in a sad tone "Miya, you have to get up now someones coming to see you soon...."  

I became extremely confused, but shrugged it off thinking it was probably  another news reporter.

Walking down stairs I heard a voice I thought I'd never hear again.

"Dad?" I blurted out and ran into the living room.

There he was, siting in the arm chair, a tall man, in his mid 30's, with brown hair, and green eyes, smiling as mom and chase frowned at him. When he saw me he got up and hugged me.

"Miya you've grown so big I've missed you." He squeezed so hard I thought I was going to pop! He finally let me go

"I missed you too dad." I said out of breath "but why are you here?" I asked bluntly. He smiled happily

"you might want so sit down for this." He stated hesitantly

"Um... okay" I did as he asked and sat in the arm chair as mom and chase left the room.

"Well, the real reason that I left you wasn't because I didn't want to be with you anymore. No... it... it was much more complicated then that." He stopped than looked at me, with a serous look,

I just sat there I was over my dad leaving but I was wanted to know why so so I kept quite. 

"We are wolves." He stated

"What?!" I exclaimed surprised at what had just come out of his mouth.

"Well technically werewolves" He pointed out.

I couldn't keep my self form laughing "Werewolves, like, howl at the moon and sniff but werewolves? hahaha." I joked

"Im not kidding, not the sniff, those guys are just weird." He growled.

He walked backwards making me think that my family is all crazy.
Then he ran towards the wall and jumped landing as a huge brown wolf in the middle of my living room!

He turned around so he could face me I was ready to jump and run away, but working at an animal shelter schooled me never to run from a predator.

His eye were bright blue giving me an 'I told you so' look.
After he changed back scaring me for life and putting on clothes, I asked "So me and chase are like this too?"

"No, just you, um your mom didn't tell you?" He looked shocked.

"Tell me what?"

"That im not your full brother." Chase said ripping of the band aid on his arm as he entered the room.
