(3rd persons pov )
It was a beautiful sunny morning. The sun just came up and the smell of the Spring and flowers filled the air. Alex was tossing and turning she didn't sleep well. well, she doesn't usually sleep more than 4 hours.
(Layla's pov)
As I woke up, I could smell the Spring air and flowers, it smell's amazing. I smiled to myself. Only if the peace could last, I sighed. Getting out of bed I went to my dresser and grabbed my usual black outfit, black shorts, black t-shirt, black jumper, black boots, black mask and black cap (Like the cover). As I just finished getting dressed, I could hear yelling. "Just great" I mumble sighing. My door burst open, there stood my mother yelling "Hurry up and go do your job in the field you ungrateful brat" she yelled. "Yes mother" I quickly got out the door heading to the front door, then I heard it, my sisters. "Hey pig" tarni said (she is the oldest). I quickly responded, "I'm going to do my job in the field". "Ok hurry up fatty and leave" she replied, "tarni stop it" zahra said (she is the seconded oldest). "Thanks" I said quietly, then left to go to the field.
(Time skip to that night)
As I was walking back home, I looked at my phone to check the time "ooh shit I'm late". I started running home, see in my house I have to get back home at a certain time. As I got to the house, I stop caught my breath then went in. When I walked in, I could see mother siting on the couch, "Do you know what time it is!!" she yelled. I looked at the time 8:00 it read, " sorry I was doing my jobs and I got busy and I forgot to look at my phone, then when I looked at my phone, I realised how late it was and ran here" I got cut off "No excuses " mum yelled, and she kept yelling "You're so ungrateful you fucking brat, I give you everything and you still don't follow the rules I give you".
I was bursting with anger then I yelled back, "You don't get me anything, yes I know you give me food, water and a roof over my head but you don't care about me. You just can't get rid of me because I'm the only one how knows how to take care of the Feld, that might I add you get money off. ever since dad died you pulled me out of school and made me work. I lost all my friends I lost my education and all you care about is your other daughters", by now I was fuming with anger but mostly with sadness. All the sudden my face was sting. she slapped me. Yes, she had done worst to me before, but for some reason this hurt more than the beating. "Don't you talk to me like that, go to your room you brat!!!!" she yelled I ran to my room and locked it, sliding down the door.
