Tara Rosalía Malina Pascal was born in New York City, New York on 26 October 1996. She is the daughter of Chilean actor, Pedro Pascal. Her mother's identification is kept private, although pascal had revealed that her mother's first name was Tara and was her father's childhood best friend. In an interview back in 2017, Pedro Pascal explained his daughter was named after her mother. Pascal is of Chilean ancestry from her father's side. From her mother, she is of Colombian and Persian descent.
She is the middle child. She has one older sister named Nikolina, and a younger sister named Valentina pascal. All sisters took after their father and are within the Film/Tv Industry.
Growing up, she took multiple language classes and became fluent in four: English, Spanish, Farsi, and Italian. She also taught herself how to play the piano.

A year later, Pascal co-starred against Robert Downey Jr. for marvel's film Iron Man, portraying Tony Stark's daughter, Morgan Stark.
