When I was 5, shortly after my gift ceremony, which you know sadly did not work.
My mom heard a loud thud from the stairs, and me crying.
She looked down to see me face-planted on the floor, right next to the stairs.
I had tried to awaken a gift, maybe I could fly!
Uh.. nope. I couldn't.
Then my mom had a long talk with me saying "it doesn't matter if you don't have a gift, mi amor. We will always love you!"
After she said that, I then went back to the stairs..
Must not have tried hard enough!
5-year old me thought..
Ahah! I did not think back then.. of course, little determined me jumped off those stairs again. But instead of landing on the floor... I landed on Abuela's old wrinkly face!
If she didn't hate me before that, she must've after that!
Oop-
My boyfriend just came in here! Eee!
His name is Diego and he is Mi amor 🥰
He said he wants to cuddle. Well.. guess I have to go! I'll try to write tomorrow, but you know how busy a Madrigal can be.
