Burns And Cuts

"When did this happen?" Dowling questioned terrified.

"It happened on the first day back at school but I- ahh ah I-I can't t-ake it a-anymore!" Kayla cried in pain.

Dowling held back her tears worried about the girl she practically raised "Ben you will need to show her how her powers will help her and... Give her immediate medical attention."

...

"Riven have you seen Kayla? I'm starting to get worried and not the good type of worry like she isn't okay... I sent her texts, calls and emails everything. I even went to her dorm she hasn't been seen for the past few days." Beatrix exclaimed worriedly.

The past days had been Beatrix asking people the same question because she really felt as if Kayla was unsafe or captured. In full words she thought something wasn't right, but her hectic schedule made it hard for her to look for her, so she decided to depend on her skills in both the specialist and fairy qualities.  

Riven raised an eyebrow eyeing the girl confused" Are you sure? I mean maybe she's mad about the video. I heard Terra and Her were like sisters." Beatrix shook her head" She would've scolded us personally."  

From the first few days of knowing Kayla, she noticed that she takes care of things personally and in Dane and Rivens situation she would definitely scold the two about it until they properly apologized to Terra so there was no reason for her to not show up. Now it was Rivens turn to be worried" What if she's been out of the barrier again? W-what if."

"She will be fine... Wherever she is, we should check her dorm later again okay." Beatrix reassured him. 

...

"Terra, can I borrow your book so I can do some homework?" Terra looked at Kayla then said "Seriously Kayla? You are on the verge of dying and you want to do homework? Kayla I could be losing you and all you want to do is what? Do homework!?"  Kayla stared at Terra stunned at her statement "Look Terra you don't get-" "Oh Kayla, I get it! I totally get it! you think no one cares about you, don't you? But mind you this Kayla you are not unlovable because every bloody soul in this school loves you!" all Kayla could do was stare at her with guilt.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              "Kayla, you do realize we could have been giving you extra care with that cut, right? But I am quite impressed with how you treated it; it even looks like you had gotten the cut two days ago... How did you manage that... Well, I mean besides the stolen zambaq."  Proffers Harvey spoke." I froze it." she answered" You used your powers? Kayla, you know that's dangerous why would you do that?"

"The pain was a lot for me personally." she cried "So, you chose to keep quiet? Kayla k has done it again." Sam dramatically said Sam was one of Kaylas closest friends cause they had grown a bond due to the love of Enya back in their first year, but they broke things off cause Sam had a crush on her and wanted nothing to do with her because she ended up dating Riven a day after he had confessed his love. "You my friend are dumber than usual."

Terra hit her brother while saying "Shut up Sam, anyways I'm sure they will find the burned one soon, but they better fined it otherwise I'll kill it myself."

Before anyone could speak a knock was heard on the door and there stood Dane.

Kayla gave him a look showing him that Terra was mad at him then said, "Hmm I'm gonna go clean up the cut."

Kayla walked to the other side of the room pulling her shirt up to clean the wound when she remembered about Julia's powers 'Ice' she then thought of ice activating.

'Ice, ice, ice give me ice'

Ice started covering her wound like an infection, but it soon started spreading her body covering it like a coat making her whole body started freezing so she panicked but luckily for her the frost had managed to stop.

Kayla brushed the fear off looking around to see if anyone had seen what she had just done but little did she know someone was watching her, someone dangerous.

Kayla had gotten tired and decided to go to her dorm room finding Lia with tears dripping from her face "Hey Kayla I umm I was literally thinking about this, but I need to talk to you about something." Kayla looked at the girl in pity then said, "What's wrong?" Lia took a moment to calm down then took a deep breath "So you know how umm this year was filled with like a lot of drama and I was wondering if I will ever be fit to be a specialist you know? Like you and Sky... you both really are cool and strong and sometimes I get scared that I will never be as half as good as y-" "Lia seriously calm down, just breath... So, you think I am the best?" Lia nodded in response making Kayla sigh "Well I am not; I had practiced all day and all night yet here I am still scared of a lot of things like snakes, spiders and even-" Kayla paused to look around "Flies ugh those little creatures could make me stay under my bed for months." she chuckled "But you Lia are as good as me... you just need to find the hope in you."   

Lia looked at Kayla with joyfully teary eyes "Thank you... thank you so much Kayla this really means a lot coming from you..." Kayla smiled at how she had made Lia so happy "Now go out there and show Saul Silva that your just as good as any powerful person." Lia nodded making her way out of the room.

Kayla hopped onto the bed trying to fall asleep "Kayla, we need to talk."  Kayla looked behind spotting Julia who had a furious expression. 

"What do we need to talk about Jules?" Kayla questioned.

Julia locked the dorm as she walked closer to Kayla "Kayla darling, your just like your mother, strong, independent, intelligent even beautiful." Julia brushed a hair strand to the side of her face "She was one of the powerfullest fairies in the other world and that just makes things complicated because you're not good enough." Julia's hand had crept down Kayla's neck grabbing it harshly "Kill me! Kayla before I kill you!"

Kayla could not breath any air in and it was suffocating her, but she had still managed to push Julia on the ground creating an escape for herself, but Julia had managed to grab Kayla's foot, dragging her on the ground until she had managed to blow some dust into her face drugging her.

Kayla's vision was getting weaker and poorer every second but what she was really mad about was the fact that Julia had tried to kill her. Julia the same person she had trusted and cared about, the one person she had as a mother figure and all that just crumbled down into a pit fool of betrayal and loss, yeah Kayla felt like she had lost an important person.

Her vision was almost gone when she looked up to Julia "Why Julia...just why?" Kayla took one last look at Julia when her vision had finally gone dark...

"What do you mean she's been cut by a burned one?" Beatrix exclaimed looking at Dane "When I went to the greenhouse to apologies to Terra, I saw her she even mentioned cleaning the cut." Beatrix looked at Dane terrified "Okay thanks for telling me about it" Dane shook his head then said, "Do you think she will be okay?" all Beatrix could do at that moment was just stare at Dane "You care about her don't you? well use that to keep it a secret from Riven."

I just wanted to say thanks for all the people who liked and continued on this journey with Kayla this chapter was shorter than usual but at least I updated but firstly I would like to say that I wanted to rush season one to get to season two because I have noticed how most Winx fanfics haven't been updating their books to get to season two. But anyways I wanted to say I will be updating twice in a week not including extras but anyways thanks for reading my paragraph and see you on Friday or Saturday.
