The sun was high in the sky reflecting a warm breeze onto the kids at camp. The last day of camp was today and the campers weren't ready to go home, but the counselors were. In fact, they were all worn out from the last three months of watching the campers everyday. It's was way worst than the last summer because this summer there were a lot more kids and less counselors, so they had to do two stations every day for 13 weeks. This was their last day, and they were so ready, at least almost all of them. Kat, the first counselor to apply for the job, was not ready to leave. Back at home Kat had no friends, these are her only friends at the camp, Helen, Ryan, Emily, Erica, Jesse, Ellie, Mallory, Dylan, Ethan, Sara, Ricky, and Aaron were the only people she trusted that trusted her equally and all of that would be gone by the next day and they'd never see each other again. She couldn't stand thinking that she was gonna be alone again so she got an idea, maybe she could sabotage the truck they were going home in to spend a couple more nights with them, besides it wouldn't hurt to have a couple more days of fun without the kids. She would sabotage the truck tomorrow morning she thought. She walked to the art section of camp where Ellie was working.
Kat: Hey Ellie!
Ellie:Hey, watcha doin all the way over here?
Kat: Nothing, just checking up on you.
Ellie: Oh, ok.
Kat turned around and walked off a little bit
Ellie:Wait!, before you go I need you to bring me the Red acrylic paint, please.
Kat: Ok, on it.
Kat jogged up the hill to the storage shed.
Kat: Okay, red acrylic paint.
Kat tugged at the shed door but it was locked.
Kat:Damnit it's locked. I'll just go ask Ethan for the key.
Kat ran back down the hill towards the archery station. She walked towards Ethan who was letting the kids shoot one last time before he locked the station up.
Kat: Ethan, I need the key to the storage shed.
Ethan:ok give me one second.
Ethan moved a kids arms up a little bit and propelled the bow in their hands.
Ethan:Ok, now RELEASE!
The kid shot the arrow and it pierced the red circle.
Ethan: Good job!
The kid smiled at him.
Ethan:Okay, umm the keys should be inside my desk.
Kat:Ok, thanks.
Kat jogged over to his desk and grabbed the key. She ran back to the storage shed and unlocked it. She tugged the doors open and a swarm of bats flew out knocking her down as she screamed.
Kat: What the hell!
Kat got up and grabbed the red can of acrylic paint and ran down the hill to Ellie's station.
Kat: Got it!
Kat sat it down next to Ellie.
Ellie: Thanks Kat, see you around.
Kat:Yup.
Kat walked down the path in the forest making her way to the edge of the surface leading her near the canoes filled with kids.
There he was, Aaron was letting the kids use the canoes one last time before he locked them inside the shed.
Kat: Hey Aaron, how's it going?
Aaron: Fine, one kid almost drowned today, but he's fine, he in the cabin for now.
Kat:Cool, that makes for a good story when he gets older.
Aaron: His parents are gonna be mad at me.
Kat:They know!?
Aaron:Mr.Thatcher called his parents and notified them.
Kat: That's tough bro.
Aaron: Yeah.
Kat: Alright, umm, do you know where Helen is?
Aaron: Yeah uhh she's up by the mountains with Ryan.
Kat: Okay, nice talkin witcha.
Aaron: Yup.
Kat made her way to the hiking trail.
She started climbing the boulders to get up to the mountains. Kat walked on the rest of the trail up to the mountain edge where Helen and Ryan were sitting.
Kat:Guys, it's dangerous to sit right there!
Helen: Kat don't be so boring, come join us, or take our picture.
Kat: Okay, fine.
Kat took her camera out and took a picture then walked over by them.
Kat:It's so high up...
Ryan:You'll be fine, we won't let you fall.
Helen:We would neva eva eva let you fall.
Helen smiled at Kat.
Ryan:Even if you did, there's a pond down there to break your fall, accompanied by a creepy creepy cave that nobody has ever explored!
Helen:Let's play truth or dare!
Kat:Uhh okay yeah sure.
Helen:Me first, Kat, truth or dare?
Kat:dare.
Helen:I dare you to kiss either me or Ryan.
Kat looked nervously at the both of them.
Kat:Really? I mean you could've been more original than that.
Helen: Welp, I already asked now you have to choose.
Ryan looked up at Kat then looked over at Helen.
Helen: The clock is ticking.
Helen and Ryan smirked at Kat.

Kat has been crushing on Ryan since camp started but, her and Helen have a tight bond too... she´s just friends both of them.
Kat walked up to them and looked at them both.
Kat: Wait were you serious?
Helen: I mean, you never said-
Kat: No.
Kat tilted her head and stared a Helen.
Ryan: But like you never cho-
Kat: Oh my god no Ryan.
Ryan:Fine, now one more question... wanna get high?
Kat:How´d you even find weed?
Helen: I dont mind, pass it Ry.

Later they raced down the mountain trail back to camp as the sun began to set.
Everyone gathered around the campfire as the flames flew high for the last time.
"Found a bEAR inside your bed, Tons of ants crawling tHrough your pants but it's finE, the sun will still shine through the blinds, at Camp Divine!" Everyone sang along, but little did they know something lurked in the shadows of the trees waiting for them to make their next moves.

Chapter 2: Farewell suckers

The kids were loaded onto the buses the next morning, all 159 kids were leaving now.
Helen: Farewell suckas!
Kat: Bye guys I'll miss you!
Aaron: See you around kids!
Ricky: Don't die out there!
Ellie: Live your lives now!
Ryan: Be safe kids!
Victor:Break a leg!
Erica: Be good in school!

The other 6 counselors were sleeping in for about 2 more hours,

Ms.Thatcher: Hey guys, we're gonna start getting ready, wake the others up!
Ricky:If you say so.
Ricky smirked and looked at his best friend Aaron. Aaron smirked back and grabbed 2 huge buckets.
Aaron:Bet!
They both filled the buckets with freezing cold water.
Ricky:You ready?
Aaron:Hell yeah.
Ricky:Let's go!
They snuck inside of the cabins in which the others were sleeping and crept up to their beds.
Ricky nodded at Aaron and they both poured the water on everyone.

Alex: Are you fricking kidding me?!
Jesse: God that's cold!
Steven:What the hell man!
Dylan:I'd kill you if I wasn't freezing right now.
The rest of them just got up and got dressed.
Ricky: Start getting ready to leave camp.
Alex: I kinda caught the memo but thanks anyway.

Everyone had gotten ready in the next 2 hours.

THE CAVE
You find yourself wandering towards the mysterious dark cave. You light a torch and walk into the cave with no hesitation. Do you go farther or leave? You don't know what to do so you just keep going deeper into the cave. You continue walking until you hit the end of the cave. You throw a rock into the darkness of the cave and suddenly you see bright red eyes staring back at you. You throw your torch at the eyes and out comes hundred of thousands of blood bats. You then see a tall figure with bright red eyes and immediately you feel like you're stuck to the ground. You try to run but your body won't follow your brains instructions. The tall figure comes running towards you and in a blink of your eye it grabs you by the neck and slams you down hard on your face repeatedly until your face is unrecognizable then it's tears your limbs off and rips you apart feasting on your intestines and drinking your blood as your dead body fades into the darkness of the cave.

The counselors were ready to get in the truck to leave Camp Divine.
Ms.Thatcher: Okay everyone bags in the truck! Check. Is the truck holding up alright?
Kat:Yeah uh no um let me check.
Kat walked to the car, ready to damage it a little bit but to her surprise the cars wheels had already been slit?????
Kat:Uh Ms. Thatcher?!
Ms Thatcher:Yeah?!
Kat:The wheels are slit wide open!
Ms Thatcher: WHAT?! NO NO NO NO THIS ISN'T HAPPENING! GOD NO!
Kat: What's wrong?
Ms.Thatcher:Just give me a goddamn minute!
Kat:We could just stay here another night.
Ms.Thatcher: You're right... just one more night...that's fine with you kids right?
They all sadly agreed.
Ms. Thatcher:Okay I have to go somewhere you guys stay here, don't leave this camp no matter what, You hear me?
They all nodded.
Ms. Thatcher: Okay see you tomorrow.
She looked down. They couldn't identify her thoughts but she seemed skeptical and suspicious at the same time.
She drove off in the working car, leaving the counselors behind for another night. But little did they know this might be their last night alive.
