Screaming at seeing one another. Not only that, but they both blushed as they screamed at one another, and Cody just rushed out the bathroom door to hide from Loona, since he was worried he accidentally made her mad by seeing her naked like this, without purpose.
Loona was also shocked at what happened. She didn't know Cody was listening in on her singing and accidentally crashed the door like that.
Screaming some more, Cody was looking for a place to hide from the possibly angry Loona, and Blitzo came in the living room to see what was wrong. "Who? What? Where? Why?" Blitzo said. "Cody what's wrong?"
Breathing rapidly and heavily, Cody said: "Need to... hide from Loona! Please! you gotta hide me, Blitzo! I'm too young to die!"
"What are you talking about?"
"Gah!" Cody didn't have any more time to explain and decided to hide in his bedroom closet to hopefully not be found by Loona.
"Cody?" said the female hellhound calling his name. The boy's heart stopped at hearing her voice. He knew he was in big trouble now, but he didn't mean to see Loona in her birthday suit.
He knew how much of a surly and moody Hellhound Loona was, and it was like he entered the lion's den by accidentally seeing her naked. Cody kept extremely quiet to not have Loona find him in here.
He heard the footsteps coming in the bedroom and his heart was pounding even faster, as ifbhe was going to die from a heart attack.
Rocking back and forth while clutching his legs close to him, Cody awaited the supposed death to come to him, and hoped Loona will at least be gentle with him, and make it painless for him.
"Cody, come out." said Loona. The footsteps were getting closer and Cody's heart was beating faster than ever. When the closet door opened, Cody yelped and he cowered himself.
"Please don't kill me! It was an accident! I'm not a drooling kid! Have mercy!"
"What?" Loona said in confusion. "Kill you? Cody, calm down."
Cody looked at her and she was wearing a black bathrobe on her to hide her furry, naked body. "Look, I didn't know the door was still open? I thought it was closed."
"Look, come on out of there." Loona softly said.
"You're not going to kill me?"
"Come on. You're my friend." Loona reassured him. "I would never kill a friend."
Still looking a little unsure about this, Cody did as Loona told him to do and was shaking like a scared puppy. "I didn't know the door was... open." he began sobbing to himself and looked away from Loona in shame.
"Cody, it's ok."
"But you're mad at me." the boy sniveled. "I was the one listening to the beautiful singing and, I violated your privacy!"
Blitzo heard the commotion and said: "what is going on in here?"
"Please don't let her kill me, Blitzo!" he went up to him, begging on his knees. "Don't sic her on me!"
"What?" Blitzo said. "That is crazy talk."
"Cody, You're being ridiculous." Loona walked up to him. "I'm not mad." she picked him up. "You just startled me. That's all."
"Look, you were singing in there, and you sounded so beautiful with that voice. I thought it was nice and it... kinda reminded me of what my mom used to sing to me before bedtime when I was a baby." Cody explained. "You can gouge my eyes out so I never have to look at you again."
"God You're morbid." said Loona. "Just calm down." she gently put him down. Cody looked away from her and felt his face gently clutched by Loona's warm, right hand to make eye contact with her. "Just take a few deep breaths. Nice and easy."
Cody did just that, and took some deep breaths to calm him down. He did it at least ten times before the tears went away.
"Wait, you saw my Loona in the shower?" Blitzo realized
"By accident." Cody said.
"Oh. OK. Normally, I would slit someone's throat if they saw my Loony naked."
"Blitzo!" Loona scolded.
"But you're a kid, and Loona really likes you, so... you don't know any better."
"Better." said Loona before looking back at the scared kid. "Look Cody, it's ok." said Loona. "But please don't do that. If I'm in the shower, just look away and keep your eyes closed."
"I will."
"And besides, you saw me naked at the time we scared Bruce and his friends the other day, remember? My fur also covers my... body parts."
"Ohhhhh. That's right." Cody remembered, wiping his eyes. "I do remember. But... why did you scream when I... accidentally saw you in there?"
"Like I said: you startled me and caught me by surprise." Loona stated. "oh, and knock too."
"Got it."
"Everythine is fine, Cody." said Blitzo. "You made a little mistake and it's nothing to worry about or fixate on."
Taking another deep breath, Cody said: "You're right, you're right. I'm acting like a drama queen."
"I wouldn't say Drama queen." Loona pointed.
"I would." her adopted father pointed.
"Blitzo!" Loona scolded again.
"What, I'm just saying."
"Can you be a little more supportive here please? Cody is a little upset right now."
"Sorry, you're right." Blitzo sighed. "It's perfectly ok, Cody."
Loona then gave him a hug to make it better for him. Blitzo absolutely loved this side of Loona right now, and he loves how motherly and sisterly she acts towards the human kid. Maybe he could call Cody his new grandson. A grandson he always wanted to have in his life.
He can hope something like that would happen to him. For now, he just had to wait and see what would happen in the future.
"Ssssshhhhh, it's ok." said Loona. "I got you. Come on. Come on."
"I'm just gonna go." Blitzo said. "I don't want to ruin the moment."
As he head out the door, Loona let go of Cody and the kid sat on the bed. "I'm sorry for sounding like a baby. It surprised me too."
"No, you're not a baby." said Loona. "I would never think that of you. Everything is fine. So can I give you anything?"
"No thanks. I'll just finish that root beer in the fridge."
"Ok." it was silent for a moment and Loona asked: "So uh, you did like my voice?"
"Uh-huh. It was so amazing. You ever thought about being in a band?"
"Sometimes, but I prefer to keep to myself from the public."
