"You lied to me."

"You lied to me, and I fucking idiot believed you."

The words were barely a whisper anymore, a hint of the voice which once brought smiles to so many people. You could hear a tremble in it, could almost taste the apprehension and panic of the origin from the voice. It bore so much pain, so that a wave of compassion and sorrow automatically overtakes you, rips you form the borders of our humane world, to simply bury you under the heart shattering weight of it.
"How could you do this to me? I trusted you!"
"Aw, now look at you, you pathetic little thing. Did you really thought that I cared about you?"

Now a deeper, more confident voice could be heard. It was rough and determined, it did not tolerate any contradiction. It sounded as if it would judge you if you disobeyed it. The voice was like the rock in the surf, which protects you from the waves of sorrow from the first voice.

Now, if you looked closely, you could make out a little satanic smile on the second voice's face. As if they enjoyed listening to the whimpers and desperate screams of the person.  As if their peace of mind grew with the suffering.
It still didn't wear off when the desperate scream of the former person formed into a gurgling sound. It consumed the whole room, which until now, lay in utter silence.

The voice fell silent until only a soft whimper could be heard. The gurgle, however, remained for the next few minutes, until the only noticeable noise the quick and hasty breaths were, which were interrupted now and then by a cough.

Only a whisper lasted in the quiet, almost unnoticeable. It was weak and powerless.
"Why- why would you do this to me?"
And, as always, the voice answered with a chuckle.

"I'm sorry, my son. But you should have never trusted me."
