The beginning of the ending

Chapter 1

I quickly ran to my room from my lesson, one of the perks of going to a boarding school was that everything is nearby. I pulled my suitcase from the top of the wardrobe and packed all of my clothes and everything I could possibly need to get away from this place. I grab my backpack and tipped it upside down so that all of my possessions fell onto the floor and I fell to my knees and rushed to get my headphones,my pencil case, my books and sketchbooks and threw them back into my backpack.my phone pinged it notified me that my Uber was going to be here in 2 minutes . ' fuck!' I shouted, I grabbed my phone, passport and purse and put in my blazer pocket. Thank god that It was still lesson time so when I walked to the Uber everyone was too busy to see me leave.Heather? The taxi driver said i replied with a nod and said yeah that's me, im heading to Heathrow airport the taxi diver gave me a kind nod and placed my bag into the boot for me. We start driving and I put my headphones on and listened to some music

I've just gone through security and I have an hour and half until my plane starts boarding,so i went in a few shops especially WHSmith to get some toffee for the flight and a packet of cigarettes as I've just run out and two lighters just in case ,I went to Starbucks and got myself a large iced black coffee and a bacon butty.I ate my Butty like it was a slice of cucumber, I've never felt so hungry before maybe it was because it was lunch time . I sipped my coffee and started walking up the stairs into the plane.I gave my ticket to the flight attendant and she gave me a kind smile and gave me back my ticket, I returned the smile and started searching for my seat, I looked at my one way flight ticket 24c it said,i quickly found my seat and sat down. I placed my bag under the seat and I put my headphones on and listen to some Taylor swift, I finished my drink before the plane set off so the flight attendant was kind enough to put it in the bin for me. I ignored the safety announcement as I had no interest for it, I turned off my phone and took off my headphones and stared out of the window while the plane took off. I knew it was going to be a long flight so I put my head against the window and dozed off

The clock strikes midnight and I blew out the single candle on my cupcake, 'happy birthday to me I guess' I whispered.I threw the cupcake away and walked to the window and leaned against the glass and stared at the deep black sky that was lightened up with stars. My phone rings,I answer the phone it's my mother. She starts singing happy birthday,I softly laugh she knows I hate celebrating my birthday but she still tries to make the effort. 'How do you feel now that you're an adult' she says i quietly reply as I don't want to get in trouble with the staff 'mmm I mean nothing changed but I think I just got a taste of freedom now' my mother laughs so loud that my little brother wakes up and runs to the phone 'shit' my mother whispered 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY HETTY' he screamed I smile and 'thank you Logan' I replied but I didn't share the same enthusiasm he had. We talked for a while and I noticed the time it was 1:15am I should probably head to bed so I said my goodnights or well good mornings and hung up. I put my phone on charge and it was cold so  I put on my pe jumper it was the first jumper I could find. I threw myself onto the bed and i slowly fell asleep.
