"Why are you just standing there girl? Get a move on before you make me angry. Good for nothing, I should go and get my light mecas back. Can't believe I spent two on a good for nothing like you." He said stepping closer to me as I stepped back just the smell of him made my stomach turn. Get his light Mecca back? What the hell is that, better yet the real question is what the hell is this? Slavery? Where the hell did that old bat send me? I asked myself again, for the thousandth time since opening my eyes. My face giving away my thoughts unbelieving that she sent me into slavery. As a black woman I was highly offended.

Before I could think of a response I felt a sting on my face. It happened so fast I didn't see it coming nor did I know where it came from. It was hard but not hard enough to knock me off my feet. However my face felt like something was knocked loose. Turning I looked for the source and found the biggest man I've ever seen in my life. He literally towered over me as he looked down on me. His facial features had a smashed look to them as if they were pounded in by someone else's fist. Reaching back he slapped me again the time harder than the last making me take several steps back just from the impact of it. I could tell that wasn't his hardest. It was as if he was trying to warn me to not fuck around without saying it.

I could see the rage on his face as I stood there, unmoving I didn't know what to do. I didn't even see him come in the room, or was he already here? I didn't even know what I did to cause him to react that way either. I mean yeah I'm slow on the intake but that doesn't warrant automatic violence. I needed to pay more attention to what's around me if I was going to survive, right out the gate these men were showing me they were not playing around that plus the fact you could buy people here.

Standing stuff as a board I was scared to move, hell I was scared to breath. Running was out of the question since thing one and thing two was blocking what looked to be the only exit. I wanted to look around more but I couldn't risk taking my eyes off them. I knew I couldn't fight back either, I was no match for his 7 plus feet not to mention I don't know if I really have magic or not or even how to use it if I did. Right now wasn't the time to try and see either, just in case I really didn't.

Seeing him step closer to me I dropped to my knees, running and fighting was out of the question my last option was to beg and hope he showed me mercy. I didn't know where I was and what I was going to do but I knew starting something right now was not going to turn out good for me. I was like a newborn baby in a teen body. As much as I wanted to pound my chest and talk shit to them. I had to remember I knew nothing about the world I was in. Just by the look of the place I knew this was a whole new world with a completely different set of rules. I needed to adjust and quickly.

"Please-please I'm sorry. I'll- I'll get right to it" I said with a small soft voice, one I didn't recognize. Sticking my hands out I seen they had some melanin, a golden brown color. Bowing my head, I was hoping this would work. If not I wouldn't have any choice but to try my luck and see if I have magic. I was hoping it would be like in the movies where a traumatic experience spring your magic to life. If not my goose would be cooked.

"That's more I like it. Now get to work." The short fat one said tapping the big guy as they both turned to leave. Only for them to stop short at the doorway. Standing I could hear one of them grunt.

"Looks like Specs is back" the short fat one said scratching his ass as he stood there.

"Yeah with only two girls. He took the wagon and held me up for days to only come back with two girls. One of which is way too underdeveloped to be worth anything." The taller one said with a lot of attitude. He seemed very irritated at whoever Specs was.

"Now now, that's two more than we had yesterday. Which we needed since I can already tell this one here" he said pointing at me "wasn't worth the buy. Doesn't even follow directions properly." He said shaking his head. The tall man said nothing as he looked me up and down before giving me his back. They both stepped out leaving me to my own thoughts.
