Chapter 14 I'm A Mother Now!

It took about 7 hours of walking before we reached the kingdom. It was a long quiet walk, nobody spoke a word. I knew they were knights just by how they were dressed but they didn't give me the same vibe as Budzen did. They also rode on a different species of dragon. This time it looked like a salamander mixed with a dragon. It had the body of a salamander but the face and wings of a dragon. The wings were so tiny I doubt it could actually fly.

They made us walk as they all rode on the salamander. I was dog tired after all this nonstop walking. Eimi was good since she rode on top of the eggs. I was kind of pissed I could've ran and cut all this walking in half. Hopefully the King here is okay but judging by how they are acting I doubt it. After caking our face and skin with dirt over the course of days I hoped the King will take pity on us.

"Where are you taking us?" I asked the man who seemed to be in charge.

"I'm taking you to the King. He'll decide what will be done with you" he said not bothering to look at me.

"Will he kill us?" I asked. I would really hate to fuck this whole kingdom up but I will if it came down to it.

"I cannot say." He said as he turned forward and continued on.

I looked over to the other guy who was sitting right beside him, the first face I seen. He wasn't a bad looking guy. His dark brown hair shined in the sunlight making his face stand out even more. He kind of reminded me of Chris Hemsworth except he had really deep dimples in each check. His green eyes looked into mine making me turn my head. He caught me checking him out. Sneaking another look I seen the disgust for me all over his face. I wanted to roll my eyes so bad, of course the knight seen me as nothing but a dirty slave.

That's fine though I don't need to get involved with anyone right now anyway. Looking straight ahead I continued forward. We reached the gate to the kingdom quickly and reached the castle even quicker. We took so many different turns I couldn't tell where we was going. Upon entering the castle we was told to wait in a room. Another guard went to grab my wagon but I moved it out of his way. No way was he was taking the dragons from me. I needed them near at all times.

"It's fine. She can keep her rocks. It's not as if she can do anything to us with them. Leave her be." The man in charge said before walking away. Doing as he was told the guard walked away as well before standing and guarding the door.

Walking into my fathers study, I took a seat at the table as I waited for him as well as Himlon. Himlon seem to have taken a liking to the girl. How that happen I did not know, they hardly said a word to each other.  However the elf was another story. If the Elven Kingdom was to find out we had an elf here it surely would cause trouble, maybe even a war. Father should just send them both away that way we wouldn't have to deal with none of that.

"Sire if you don't mind I'll like to keep both of them" I heard Himlon say as he and my father entered into the study. Jumping to my feet I greeted my father.

"Himlon we cannot keep an Elf here without alerting the Elven king that we found one of his people. That would violate the treaty we have with one another. However I'm willing to let you keep the other girl." My father said taking a seat.

Thinking it over Himlon nodded in agreement.

"Good. Now that that's over tell me what have you found?"

"We didn't find anything Sire. For months on end we were getting reports of strong magical auras that matched that of a dragon but we when looked we did not find a thing. We thought maybe Budzen was back but we didn't find any evidence of that." Himlon reported.
