"I'm nervous about sending Rosemary to her first day of elementary school," Minerva said. "I know, but we have to eventually," Albus said. "I know, but what about you-know-who? He's still out there somewhere," she said. "I know, but Rosemary is going to Hogsmeade Primary School. I talked to the headmaster of the school, and he said that the school is safe, much like Hogwarts is. You met the headmaster as well and you met Rosemary's teacher," he said. "I did, but I'm just scared something will happen while she's at school," she said. "Hey now, where's that Gryffindor that I once knew, huh?" he said, gently pushing her chin up so she could look him in the eye. "I'm still here," she said. "I know what I'm doing. I want our girls to go to elementary school," he said. "I know. I want the best for them," she said. "I know," he said, smiling and his blue eyes twinkling which made Minerva smile as well along with him.
The following morning, Minerva woke up first. Minerva woke Albus and they went to get the girls up and ready for the day. Albus got Rosemary dressed while Minerva got Sage dressed. They went down to the Great Hall for breakfast. Albus got Rosemary dressed in a school uniform. Rosemary was happy for her first day of primary school. Rosemary wanted to go to school, and Minerva wanted Rosemary to go to school as well but was nervous.
After breakfast, Minerva and Albus took Rosemary to school. Minerva didn't have a first period class this morning to be able to take Rosemary to her first day of school. Rosemary was holding Albus's hand all the way to the Hogsmeade Primary School. Minerva was carrying Sage during the entire walk. Rosemary kept trying to run ahead but was stopped by Albus.
They soon made it to the school. Rosemary gave each of her parents a hug before walking off into the classroom. "Bye mommy, bye daddy," Rosemary said, giving them each a hug. "Bye kitten," Minerva said. "Bye kitten, we'll be here to pick you up after school," Albus said. "Okay daddy," Rosemary said. Rosemary went into the classroom that she was supposed to be in. Albus and Minerva walked back to Hogwarts. They knew Rosemary would be fine.
They went through the day and not a moment passed that they didn't think about Rosemary's first day at primary school. They both knew that Rosemary would be perfectly fine. There would be teachers and other school staff members that would protect her. They were going to get her after school. They were wondering what kind of day she was having all day.
They soon got to pick Rosemary up from school. Rosemary was sitting along the wall with all the other students in her year. Rosemary looked up and saw her parents. "Mommy daddy," Rosemary squealed, getting up to run over to her parents. Albus caught her when she got over to them. They went over to her teacher and the teacher said that she was well behaved all day. Albus and Minerva signed a piece of paper and took Rosemary home.
They went to their private quarters when they got to Hogwarts. Rosemary talked all about her day at school. They were sending her back to school and they were sending Sage there as well when she was school age. Minerva wanted to continue to hear about Rosemary's days at school. She was wanting her daughter to grow up and be something wonderful in life.
