Tevin Yoru Narrated POV
As a kid growing up in a rich family, I think I can say that being rich is cool and all, but what's the point of being rich if you can't stand up on your own two feet?

Kid Tevin Yoru: Mom, Dad, I want to learn martial arts.

A man with a mustache looks at me with a questionable face. His name is Robert Antonio Yoru. Alongside him was his wife and my mother as she gave a smile seeing me wanting to learn discipline and honor. Her name is Kumiko Asamiya Yoru.

Robert Antonio Yoru: Why would you want to fight, my son? Why waste your time being a brute than inherit your family business?

Tevin Yoru voice-over: See, my dad is a wealthy business man and owner of  the Yoru Conglomerate and a tycoon at that as well. He runs a hotel business and he wants me to inherit his life. But I don't want that. I want to live a life as a fighter and a hero. I grew up watching the U.S. Martial Arts tournament and the champion was Charlie Nash. But when a fighter who goes by the name Ken Masters defeated Nash, I was amazed at the techniques he would use.

-Flashback to the U.S. Martial Arts Tournament between Charlie Nash vs. Ken Masters-

Charlie Nash: So you're my opponent...You are indeed strong. Too bad you have a fighting career. You would be good to serve the United States.

Ken Masters: Sorry pal, but I'm not cut out for the army life like you. There is someone I must face before I can do anything else.

Referee: Ready...? Fight!

Charlie Nash: Sonic Boom! *does a one handed Sonic Boom*

Ken Masters: Hadōken!

The two would trade blow after blow as if they were in a war

The two would trade blow after blow as if they were in a war. Nash wasn't able to stop Ken's momentum and the blonde haired Ansatsuken fighter capitalized on the opportunity with a move that made me want to learn more martial arts.

Ken Masters: Ikuze! Shōryūreppa!
