Ugh. I can recognize that loud beeping noise from anywhere...my alarm clock. Today is the last day of eighth grade. AKA the last day of torture. Then summertime, tanning, and parties. Then high school. Ugh. You know what I'm just going to worry about today for starters. What to wear? What to wear? My closet is stuffed full of out of trend clothes apparently. Once my high school sister Alayna left, I snuck into her closet-the size of my whole room-and took her pretty beige sandals. They will go perfect with my too-small dress. I never wear dresses, but I haven't worn this dress and my mom will complain at me if I don't.
Before I know it my dad is calling
up the stairs to come down and eat breakfast. I shove mini wheats down my throat and run to the bus stop. The bus is already there waiting impatiently. Of course. I have to sit next to a gold digger, because that's the only spot left. I'm picked up last in the morning. Of course. When I got to the 8th grade hall my friend Beth called over to me "Savanna look!" I came over to her and she pointed to the girl who never spoke, she was wearing a short hot pink dress smiling and chatting about. Weird. The ceremony was going to start soon and the silk dress I'm wearing keeps riding up on me. After they gave out all the awards the pictures began-the worst part. Then cake-best part. Beth and I are going to the beach with her older sister as soon as I finish my cake-ha.
