Today was the anniversary of 3 months for me and my so called "girlfriend". I have never put in effort to show I am a loving boyfreind this is because I don't care about this girl I, Jughead Jones, likes...no loves Archie Andrew's. Sadly to be honest, it seems like he has no interest in guys, it seems he has a intrest in Veronica Lodge. Ofcourse, he has a crush on the most richest girl ever. Even their parents think they should be together. It just hurts whenever I see her with him. I thought she liked him till now...
I was in the gym when Betty and Veronica were trying out for the Riverdale Vixens cheerleading team. In the middle of the fancy blue and gold table was Cheryl Blossom. Most famous brat in school. On her sides were the vice captains of the cheer squad, Heather and Lana. I thought they had finished but Veronica cupped Betty's cheeks and kissed her. Omg Veronica Lodge just kiss Betty Cooper. "Oh please lady's, faux lesbian kissing was so back then" Cheryl said once Veronica and Betty pulled away from the kiss. I was still in shock. It clicked to me that I might have a chance with Archie cause I'm pretty sure Veronica is a lesbian. A badass lesbian at that. I quickly gathered my stuff and rushed out of the gym. I hurried to my locker and put all my non important books away. I kept my science and math book plus my computer. I reached my classroom just as the bell rang. I walked in and my teacher shoved a detention slip in my face "you are late Mr. Jones" my teacher said with no emotion. "But the bell just rang as I walked in!" I said protesting "no, after school detention" my teacher said before starting her lesson. Everyone was going "ooo" like we were in 2nd grade. Thank god I sat next to Archie in this class. The teacher began talking as I put my head down on the desk. After awhile I felt someone shake my shoulder. I looked up to see non other than Archie Andrew's. "Uh hey dude class is over and it's currently lunch" he said with a awkward grin "also we have to do a project together" he added. I got up collecting my stuff. I grabbed him by his wrist and dragged him to the lunchroom going to the table far away in the corner. I sat down as I let go of his wrist and got my computer out to do the project, I thought I was going to have to do it alone "I will tell you when the project is done" I said not looking at him. He ignored me and sat down grabbing his science book. He started flipping the pages and found the one he wanted. I was still in shock that a jock actually was going to do a project. Throughout lunch we got the whole project done. "Hey do you want to come by my house at 3 and possibly sleepover since its Friday" he said as we were walking out of the lunchroom. "Yea sure I'm pretty sure were neighbors" I said. He nodded and we started speed walking since we only had 2 minutes left. I walked in first but Archie went in after the bell. "Detention Mr. Andrews" the teacher said as she passed him a slip. We sat down at our table that we were grouped in and started working on a pop quiz. After detention, we were walking to his house cause why not. We got there in 20 minutes and headed up to his room after saying hi to his dad. He fell on the bed and laughed "Detention was so boring" Archie said while laughing. I got butterflies in my stomach as he laughed, geez I really like this boy...
