I walked toward the pizzaplex, I was on night shift; so inevitably I should have been tired. But I’d been prepared with coffee, so I sipped it as I walked through. I gasped in awe at the amount of space there was, and this was only the first floor. ‘This place is ginormous…’ I thought, good thing I only really had to be in one specific place. Otherwise, I think I’d start panicking. I pulled out my card, “superstar daycare,” I quoted what I’d read from the card. I had to check on the animatronic sun and moon, whom I don’t know much about. ‘Now which way…oh! This way,’ I pointed to the sign, I followed the way it had told me.

I opened up a door and walked in, greeted by a large statue of the two. Sun looked so cheerful and eccentric; moon seemed calm, but there was just something off about the statue. I couldn’t quite know why though, I walked up a set of stairs, seeing a slide. “Is this really the only way to get in?” I looked around, and with a childish giggle, “I guess so~” I stepped back and jumped in face first, sliding down and shooting out into a ball pit. I popped up, “haha! That was amazing-” I let out, chuckling as I stood up. The balls went up to my waist, I walked forward a bit as a light caught my attention. I looked up to see Sun, “What's this we have here?” he smiled, then jumped and dived into the ball pit.

I couldn’t even see him, ‘where’d he go-?’ I cautiously walked forward, when he sprung up, grabbing me by my waist and lifting me up. Our faces are rather close, “New friend! What are you doing up so late- oh- are we having a slumber party?!” He cheered, I laughed to myself nervously. “Oh, no- Sunny I’m here to make sure you're operating correctly!” I let out, “oh, so no slumber party…?” he pouted, “I’ll be here all night with you, i’m sure that counts.” I smiled, “Oh how fun!” he smiled, he brought me over and set me down, the floor was so squishy. Probably to soften falls, kids fall a lot after all.

I grabbed my clipboard, “so first, gotta check your sunrays. Tighten them a bit, I hear they’ve been loose.” I let out, clicking my pen. “Oh yes! They have been,” he admitted, I grabbed my screwdriver and looked up at him, standing upright he was at least 9 ft. “uhm…could ya sit down?” I asked, he nodded and sat. I climbed onto his lap and tightened the sunrays, darn kids probably pulling on them all the time. “Oki doki! That's done, now… all I have to do is check everything-” I let out, “open your mouth please,” he opened it, “all your teeth and voice box are intact- that's great! Though- there's a lot of glitter glue residue-” I questioned, he let out a laugh. “Oh that- that's nothing, the kids- you know how kids are when they play pretend.” he let out, ‘mhm- sure,’ I put my hands on his chest, “seems everything is secure, your arms, check…alright you're all good!” I looked up at him to see a small amount of blush, I didn’t even know they could blush. “Thank you,” he smiled,

“Alighty, now where’s the moon one? He’s on my list too.” I let out, he seemed nervous. “Er… moon? He’s-” he thought, he sighed, as if he’d lost an argument. “Here,” he let out, he walked over and turned off the lights. “Sun? Why are the lights o-” suddenly I was on the ground, back against the floor. Hands tight around my wrists, “woah! Sun-” I squinted my eyes to adjust to the dark, looking up to see menacing red eyes. I felt my heart race as his form came into view, “whaaat do we have here…?” his voice growled, as I felt myself shake. “Are you- moon?” I let out, ‘maybe if I stay calm, I’ll be ok…’
