Curses - Luxiem + Shxtou Fanfic (ft. VoxTo and ShuCa)

~Chapter 6~

Chapter 6! Wooo! Today I had no internet, but luckily I had my story still open from yesterday so I was still able to work on the story! Enjoy this chapter ^^

They all stared at the man who was pretending to be Mysta. Doyle was the name of the curse who possessed Mysta and tried to kill him since he got in his way. In the curse word, Doyle means dark stranger. A curse's name should never be relieved. When the curse's name is relieved, that curse will become weak and slowly would perish. But if a curse gets a new name, it will be restored to its original state. Unforeutally for the curse, it would lose its memories from its last life and have a new ability.

Shu looked at Doyle with anger, "What did you do to Mysta?" He asked again. Doyle looked at Shu, "Your friend is in my possession right now. Since you already know my name, you must know my ability as well?" Doyle asked as Shu nodded.

Doyle's ability (if you couldn't guess) is possession. He can possess anyone he chooses for unlimited amounts of time. He can weaken, hurt, or kill the person he possesses. He can only possess one person at a time. If he tries to possess more than one person, he would fade away and he wouldn't be able to come back.

Another example of the curses' ability based on their name is the voice in Shu's head. If you have forgotten, Shu has been cursed. This curse is one of the oldest curses in the world, making him one of the most powerful curses. His ability is the voice. He can go into anyone's mind and talk to them as if they had a second voice in their head. He can manipulate his victim into thinking, doing, and saying what he wants. The voice was able to tell Shu's body what to do and think without Shu even knowing about it, which makes this curse so dangerous.

"I'm sorry to tell ya hun, but there's no way to get your friend back," Doyle said. Shu stared dead at Doyle and began to walk closer to him. Doyle started to back up at Shu and moved closer until he hit the wall. Doyle's eyes widened as he noticed that there was nowhere to run. Shu stopped right in front of him and touched the ring that was on Doyle's finger. Doyle grabbed Shu's arm and yanked him away from his ring. Shu groaned and looked back at Doyle. Doyle looked at Shu and backed up some more, "Look! I-I was just joking! I can get your friend back!" Doyle pleaded, but Shu wasn't having it. He grabbed a part of Doyle's kimono and yanked him towards him. Shu then grabbed the ring and it disappeared into the air. Doyle went wide-eyed as he faded away leaving a sleeping Mysta behind.

Shu rushed over to Mysta and checked to see if he was ok. Ike and Luca rushed over, "Is he ok?" Ike asked as he kneeled to the ground. Shu nodded, "Yeah and this time he isn't cursed." Ike looked at Shu for a while and then said, "Shu, why did you bring Mysta here in the first place? If he doesn't like this place and no on-"

"It wasn't me." Shu interrupted.

"What...?"

"It wasn't me, Ike. I'm cursed as well. All curses have a different name along with a different ability. I still don't know who my curse is, but I now know his ability."

"Then what is his ability?" Ike asked. Shu didn't respond after a few seconds.

"His ability is the manipulation of the body, mind, and soul. He can control anybody he chooses." Shu said at last. Ike nodded as Shoto yelped in pain, which scared the others. Shu, Ike, and Luca looked at Shoto as Vox apologized.

"It hurts!" Shoto whined as he tried to stop Vox from rubbing his side. Vox sighed as he put more pressure on it, "Stop being such a baby." He joked. Shoto growled as he tried to move, but he was in too much pain. Vox looked at him and picked him up, "Stop it Shoto. You're hurting yourself even more." Vox said in a calming voice. Shoto groaned as he leaned into Vox and closed his eyes, trying to relax.
