Noah was having a blast in this birthday party, he was flirting with Liam's whole family.
He even made Liam's grandma giggle! Giggle! That 70 year old lady giggled at Noah's joke or whatever it was he was saying to her.
I sat in the corner and drank juice, felt like an alcoholic when I kept going back to get another cup.
"Having fun?" Lucy asked with a smile.
"Very," I muttered sarcastically.
"Not much of a party kind of person?"
"Not at all," I smiled at her.
"What do you study?" She asked.
"I study physiotherapy, are you in college yet?"
"Not yet but will be there soon, I'm a junior."
"Oh that's seems nice."
I observed her face and noticed how similar yet not, she was to Liam, you could come to the conclusion that she's Liam's sister but after scanning her features.
Her red curly hair was the one thing that I noticed all the time and it's possible that she always seen because of that.
"I hate it," she said.
"Pardon?" I looked at her.
"My hair, you're looking at it, I hate it, it takes a lot of attention and people always know I'm in the room, it announces me without me saying anything."
"So that means you're like a princess, you get announced when walking in," I smiled at her.
She started blushing... wait why is she blushing?
That's when I noticed she was trying to flirt with me this whole time, dammit us guys are so dumb.
"How is college?" She asked after calming down a bit.
"College is nice, I actually met my girlfriend there, a lot of things happen there but it's for the best."
"Girlfriend?"
"Yeah," I nodded my head.
"Aww that's so sweet," she smiled, "I'm gonna go drink punch, want some?"
"No I'm alright thank you."
Liam passed by me with a nod and threw a bag of chips, I caught it with ease, and opened it.
After a few minutes of silently munching on the chips, Lucy came back.
"Are you in my brothers university?"
"I am, why do you ask?"
"Then... I was thinking about, um, well nevermind."
"No it's fine you can ask anything," I shrugged as I put another chip in my mouth.
"How did you meet your girlfriend in an all boys college? I'm just curious, I'm sorry this is awkward I shouldn't have asked."
"No no it's fine, it makes sense to ask me, but she's the girl who works in the cafe, she's the sweetest person on earth but honestly I think I fell in love with the cupcakes she sells, she was just like a plus," I laughed.
"Oh... oh right, of course there are cafes and stuff, I'm sorry for thinking badly of you."
"No it's fine,"
"I thought you actually lied to me," she awkwardly laughed, "it's this thing that guys have against me, they all decide not to be truthful and I... I'm sorry this is awkward."
"It's fine, I always thought the opposite gender disliked me, I never really dated anyone until I met my girlfriend."
She smiled at me, and nodded, "wish you two all the best."
