1.Lee Donghyuck lived an average life. Talented, clumsy, and a shy bee.
Shy only because he was a new student in his first year of university. First time away from home. But now, as he stepped into the actual world, he knew nobody would care about his difficulties in his daily tasks. Talking to the cashier, the long line behind him when it was his turn to pay. Little things like these had his heart racing.
Summer was at its peak when he first received his registration email, and now it had rolled down to autumn. A few months have passed. By now he was used to his daily 10 minutes morning walk to campus. He was used to people giving him odd looks, used to people ignoring him, kids at the campus whispering, laughing and goofing around with their own groups.
Donghyuck would wake up early in the morning only to avoid the crowded streets. His classes often started a little before noon, however, little did anyone know why he bothered to get out of bed a while before.
Coming to the lounge area, taking his usual seat by the window where he had a good view of the world outside and at the entrance. He would sit there only for a boy that passed by on his way to his lectures.
Lee Minhyung. Or as his only friend called him as Mark.
Don't get donghyuck wrong, he was never creeping around them or anything. He only heard the name when he once ran into him by the vending machine.
Donghyuck would place his bag on the chair beside him, chin on palm and gaze fixed far to the gate of the campus. He would watch the boy walk all the way inside and as he climbed up the stairs to his class.
Mark was in his last year. As handsome as he was in donghyucks' eyes, there were times when he would not look good for days. Other times when he would disappear for some weeks. Donghyuck never had the courage to walk up to his friend that walked with him all the time just to ask about him.
Mark would wear different coloured beanies each time he changed his outfit. Donghyuck figured that was the point of his look. And it often had him wondering before going to bed at night; how can someone look so good?
Other than to complete his degree, his second goal was to talk to the boy someday. Hopefully its before Mark graduates.
