Planet Zero Volume 4: The Symbol Of Fear

Impending Chaos

Makima sat alone in her prison cell as she stared at the door in front of her. "Pathetic. You all believe that these walls can hold me....Ignorant pests....Hm?" Makima got up as she stared at the doors to her cell. "What is going on out there?" Ever since she finally synchronised with the power of All For One, Makima's voice became a mixture of all of the previous wielders of All For One. All of the kindness that Makima had in her heart was gone. She was reduced to what could be more easily described as the symbol of pure evil. "GUARDS! THE PRISON IS UNDER ATTACK! DO NOT LET THE VILLAINS FREE MAKIMA!" Upon hearing this, Makima began to laugh. Knowing that the guards and the heroes were scared of her was music to her ears. As she continued to laugh, the guards watching her cell on the video feed briefly saw All For One in her place for a split second. Makima's eyes were covered by a special blindfold that would keep her from using her search quirk to find a way to exit her cell. She knew that this could not be Himiko Pyre launching the attack on Tartarus, since she believed that she was still attempting to become the Final Herscherr. When Makima realised who her saviours were, she laughed again. 

500 meters above Makima's prison cell, on the surface of Tartarus, all that could be heard was the sounds of turrets and prison guards firing at something in the sky. Suddenly the clouds began to float away from whatever the guards were shooting at, and the identities of Makima's allies were revealed. Himiko Toga and Ochako Uraraka stood on top of a winged nomu. Behind them, an army of winged nomus followed them. Toga nodded her head at Uraraka before the fallen hero leaped off the back of the Nomu, using her quirk to fly towards the prison, dodging the bullets that were fired at her. Uraraka landed on top of a prison guard, the force of her landing being enough to kill the guard instantly using her feet. She picked up the gun that the guard was holding, and she began to fire at the guards while she used her quirk to float around all of the bullets that were fired at her. She flew towards all of the guards that she could, and she used her quirk to make them all float in the air above her, knowing that this fall would kill them once she released them. Uraraka smirked at the guards before she closed her eyes. "Release." As she said this, the guards fell from the sky to their deaths, and Toga landed her nomu in the courtyard where she reunited with Uraraka. The other nomus crashed into all of the giant turrets that were aimed at Uraraka and Toga, and they both laughed as they watched the largest prison on the planet fall apart around them. "Let's rescue our comrades!" Toga and Uraraka sprinted inside of the entrance to the prison's interior, and they used their weapons to kill anyone foolish enough to stand in their way. They opened every single cell that they encountered on their way to Makima. Hundreds of villains ran out of the prison, and they all gathered in the courtyard because the bridge out of Tartarus was gone. This was another countermeasure to prevent any villains from escaping from the prison with their lives. "If you all want to run away like cowards, feel free to do so! But these heroes have captured our leader! Don't run, and you all will be rewarded when Makima Shigaraki is freed!" Uraraka's words were enough to keep the villains from jumping into the water.

At the bottom of the prison, Makima's cell door was blasted open by Makima, who managed to rip her blindfold off while the guards were distracted, before she used her tendrils to blast the door open. "And so it begins...." She used her tendrils to blast all of the cell doors on her floor open, and she watched as her allies fled from the prison. Thousands of her comrades were locked away by the hero society. Today was the day that the Paranormal Liberation Front would fight back against their enemies. Just as Toga and Uraraka were about to open the doors to an elevator, the doors opened for them, and Makima stepped out of the elevator with a smile on her face. "Bravo....You both did well....Shall we rendevous with our comrades outside?" Makima walked out of the prison with Toga and Uraraka by her side. The villains cheered at the sight of their leader being free again, and Makima stood on top of a fallen watchtower as she spoke to her allies. "Today marks the start of a new age for this planet! Soon the hero society will crumble into dust because of what we will do! For too long have we been oppressed by the heroes! Starting today, we will not stop until every single hero has been killed! There will be no mercy for these false saviours!" The villains continued to cheer, and Makima used her quirks to raise the bridge so that she and her allies could leave Tartarus. Makima and her allies marched across the raised bridge, ready to begin their war against the hero society. If there were any survivors inside of the ruins of Tartarus, they wondered why Anastasia Swan never stopped her training to save the world from Makima.
