Jane was a single mother with a daughter named Brianna, she loved her daughter dearly and wouldn't trade her for the world, she always looked out for her, and her family on the other hand always gave her weird looks when she brought her to them. It got bad to where Jane and he mother nearly got into an argument. Her brother Brian always had a look of worry on his face each time she brought up Brianna.

Jane always had thoughts of cutting off her family, except for her brother. Her brother Brian was always the only person she trusted with her child, she trusted him more than her parents, he was a good uncle to Brianna and that was all he could ask for. Even though she trusted him, Jane had a feeling that he was hiding something. Hiding something big, usually, they'd tell each other everything.

Jane didn't know what it was but she could tell that it was starting to affect him. Jane decided to confront him about it. After she put her daughter to bed, Jane sat by her brother on the couch. "Brian, you've been acting off lately, is something wrong?" She asked while putting her knees up to her chest. He let kit a deep breath while cracking his knuckles, she knows that he's gonna say something serious. "It's hard to explain." "Is it personal?" He leaned back on the couch, turning his head towards her. He stayed silent which made her anxious.

The look in his eyes was filled with pity. She kept staring at him until he spike again. "I'll show you instead of telling you." Showing her? Jane was confused. "Show me what?" Brian didn't say anything, getting up off the couch to put his shoes and coat on. "You're leaving?" He shook his head. "You're coming with me sis, it's important." Jane was skeptical, not wanting to leave her daughter behind in the house all alone. "What about Bri?" "The kid will be fine, it's just gonna be for a few minutes."

Jane thought about it for a few minutes before tagging along with him. It was pitch black outside, the car side with Brian was silent, and the feeling of nervousness never left her stomach, it almost started hurting, Brian being silent scared her as he had a relentless expression on his face. His eyes never left the road to even look at her.

"Brian?" No response.
"Brian where are we going?"
"You'll see."

She thought of the worst possibilities.

"Did you kill someone?!"
"What makes you think I'd do that?!"
"You're freaking me out Brian I don't know!"

Brian tapped his fingers on the steering wheel, he looked at her for the first time throughout the whole car ride, it looked like he wanted to cry. "Brian, just tell me, we can figure this out." He put his eyes back on the road. "It involves you and Briana." Brianna? What does her daughter have to do with this? Brian didn't answer any more of her questions, and eventually, they made it to their destination. A graveyard.

"Why are we here?" Brian took out a flashlight, brought his sister, out of the car, walking through the different gravestones. He stopped at one of them, it had different types of old pink flowers placed on it. The name on the gravestone made her heart stop. Brianna Nelson. 2009-2012. Jane stood there frozen. Not even hearing her brother speak to her.

Jane didn't exist... Not anymore. She's dead.

"She died at the age of 4, remember?" Jane fell to her knees, feeling the tears prick in her eyes. "She drowned in the bathtub." The sounds of muffled water filled her head which made her cry even harder. Brianna was gone and it was all her fault.
