Pants and shirt?
No maybe skirt and shirt?
Or a dress? My alarm is ringing, a sign that I have to leave and I am not ready at all! I have to join my sister. She is a journalist and she has to interview a young CEO of a large company. His name escapes me at the moment but apparently he is rather well known.
I put on a dress, quickly brush my hair and let it loose before giving myself a little liner with brown eyeshadow. I put on my big black platform boots/heels, my rings, my bracelets and I'm ready.
It's not really my habit to dress like that but I have to make a good impression.
I glance at the time, 2:35 p.m, damn I'm going to be late!
I grab my backpack slung over my shoulder, a cake for the road and leave my house towards Yoona's offices.I don't really want to go to this interview, but I owe Yoona a favor so I don't have much choice. I'm not really interested in the world of journalism, I'm studying literature and I hope, one day, to become a writer or director of a publishing house.
It's not really far from journalism but it's not really the same world. In journalism you really have to impose yourself and get noticed, whereas in my world, it's more books that have this role. Writers are often only supporting roles. After a ten-minute walk, I arrive in front of a large glass building, Yoona's offices. It is a huge building where the view from above is breathtaking.
I push open the doors and enter the very soberly decorated lobby, which I cross quickly to get into an elevator.- "Ninth floor." announces a robotic voice before the doors open on a cluster of girls jostling.
Surprised, I walk forward to finally notice that all these little people are in front of my sister's office, that is, where I have to go. Strange because usually no one, or very few, goes to her office.
What's going on?I make, with difficulty, my way elbowing between all these girls and managed somehow to enter the room so desired.
-" Yoona? » I call her as I enter.
She appears out of nowhere, making me jump as I pass and let out a little cry of surprise.
- "It's not okay to scare people like that??? I place my hand over my heart and take a deep breath.
- Mina I don't want to go. She squeals like a baby.
- Where? At your interview?
- Yes. She sighs.
- Ah well, there are two of us. I laugh softly. But why?
- Mr.Park is an intimidating man! »Ah yes there you go, Park Jimin CEO of Park Company. A millionaire.
-" So what? You just landed an interview with an intimidating and coveted man. Many would like your place.
- I'm afraid of making a bad impression. She sighs as she sits down on her desk and I join her.
- But anyway, you're the best journalist I know. I really don't see why you would make a bad impression. Are you kidding me or what? »
