James Potter, James Potter was, in all ways but one, a normal 11 year old kid. He loved to hang out with his friends, he didn't like school that much, and he was obsessed with a sport. Despite all the "normal" things he liked, he was far from your normal person. James Potter was a wizard. And not any wizard at that, but a wizard who grew up to be the father of the Chosen One, famous Harry Potter. Though, his son, Harry's, story has been told many times. There is little known about his father.
Lily Evans, Lily Evans thought she was a normal kid all her life. Well, up until the summer before her 6th Muggle school year that is...No, no, no. Lily Evans was far from normal, as was made clear to her by her sister, Petunia's, disgusted face and snarky remarks ever since she got her letter. The letter. And though she didn't know it at the time, this letter would become very important to her. For if she had not gotten the letter, she would have never met James Potter, and she would have never been Harry Potter's mother.
Author's note:
I decided to make this book because the story of the Marauders era gets no justice in the series. People always have to make fan fictions and headcannons. This book will be another one of those, BUT, if you decide that this is good enough for your story of the Marauders, I welcome you to headcannon it too. This series will be about friendship, courage, and the coming of age of not just James and Lily, but also the whole friend group.
