Ava's perspective
I arrive home from a long day of school and run up the stairs after saying hello to my parents. They're going out tonight and there is a house party just down the road from me, I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to go for a bit they would never have to know I'm even gone, the only problem is my brother Cameron. I'm sure he wouldn't mind staying home alone for a bit I mean he's 14 now he can handle it.

I chuck my clothes in the wash bin and have a quick shower. I love the hot water running down my body cleaning me it makes me feel refreshed after a long day. As I blow dry my hair I get a text from my best friend, Lilly.

New message:have u heard about the party u need to come x
I quickly reply
Already one step ahead of ya, meet u there x

I decide to wear some skinny jeans, a crop top, my leather jacket and my trainers. I know it's not that party like but I don't want to look like im trying to hard. I decide on telling my brother I'm leaving because if I don't and he sees I'm gone he might panic and call my parents to say I've gone missing.

"Cam can you come here for a second"

"Yeah, what do you want?"

"I'm going oh tonight with Lilly and I might be back later but please don't tell mum or dad"

"Ok"

"Ok really?" I feel as if this is a trick.

"Yeah but only on one condition"

There it is, I knew that was to good to be true.

"Next time I want to go out you let me without telling mum"

"Fine."

"Thanks, have fun"

I mumbled under my breath and I opened the front door and slammed it behind me. The cold air whisked through my perfectly straight hair, the dark engulfing the street. I walk down the road towards the thumping of loud music and the sound of people having a good time. As I turn the corner I see Lilly.

"Lilly" I screamed at the top of my lungs

She whizzed her curly, bleach blonde hair around to face me. she looked stunning! She was wearing a pencil skirt with a crop top. Maybe I should have tried harder to look nice but it's too late now.

"Ava" she screamed as she came running over to me and pulled me into a hug. As we pulled away she gasped.

"What?" I asked suspiciously wondering why her mouth had dropped open. Everyone was looking over to a boy with complete shock but I I didn't recognise him. He was pretty hot maybe that why. I tugged on her arm bringing her back to reality.

"What are you staring at?" i asked again

"That's Justin bieber" she said as she pointed over to the boy

"Who?" I recognised the name but I still didn't no who he was.

"Oh please Ava, you really don't know who that is?" She said as if it was the most obvious thing."He's in the gang "the thorns" they run all of Alberta"

Alberta is the town we live in, in Canada. I've lived hear since I was a kid but my parents originally come form Ontario.

"Oh yeah I have heard of them" I said as I remembered that I heard about them on the news.

As I gazed over at him like everyone else was he looked me up and down before biting his lip then he disappeared behind the door of the house.

"Did you see that he totally checked you out" Lilly gasped in complete shock

"No he didn't" I stated although I think he might have.

"Whatever but I don't want you near him, he is a risk you either ride with them or your die with them-there quote not mine that's to cringe for me to think of."she stated as she put her hands up in a surrendering way.

"Oh please like someone like him would ever go out with someone like me so come on let's go party." I said as tugged her hand pulling her into the house where all the other people where going. Everyone around us was dancing and getting drunk so I decided to get a beer to relax myself because if I'm honest I feel a bit out of place.

For the rest of the night me and Lilly danced with everyone else having a good time until I realised she wasn't there. I decided to go look for her but I couldn't find her
anywhere. I even called her but it went straight to voicemail.

I've been looking for about 10 minutes now but I still can't see her and its getting claustrophobic in here so I need some air and go out in the garden where there are still people and smoke fogging my view. I leave out the garden door into an alley way where there's no one so I can finally breath and relax. suddenly I hear voices round the corner of the alley way and I go look to see what's going on but as I peer my head round the corner I see its Justin the guy Lilly warned me about. I was about to leave until I heard a shot being fired. I gasped as I saw a lifeless, limp body fall to the floor.

Shooting his dark, hard hazel eyes at me I started to panic my heart started pumping really fast and the words "or you die with them" repeating in my head. I shut my eyes hoping it would all be a dream but as I opened them I was picked up and chucked over a shoulder with a hand covering my mouth so I couldn't scream for help. Obviously I tried but he just tightened his grip on me.

When he put me down I noticed I was in his car, well what I assume was his car. I thought now I'm certainly going to die, he has me in his car after I just witnessed him kill someone. Yes of course Ava he is definitely going to let you go. How stupid could I be.

"What ya thinking bout?" He startled me not even knowing he had gotten into the car.

"Jeez you scared me" laughing a little to ease the tension but he seemed to be serious

"That didn't answer my question" he sternly said as I shifted uncomfortably on the leather chair

"Oh I was just thinking about stuff"

"Like what?"

When I didn't say anything he carried on

" I don't want you to scared with me, I know it looked bad but he deserved it"

"No one deserves to die" I mumbled in return hoping he wouldn't hear it

"Fine. I gave you a chance to talk to me and I was being nice but that's the way you want to be then fine." He sternly said

We sat I the rest of the way in silence until appearing in a house in the middle of no where. my mouth dropped open at a mansion I never even knew existed .

"You like? It's mine." He stated smirking at me as if he was so pleased with himself

"Yeah it's ok, I guess"

He started walking up to the pathway to the front door and I froze knowing this meant I was going into justin biebers house.

"Oh god..."
