Whatever you do, do NOT listen to lowkey by NIKI and think of Yi Zaha unless you want to be hunted by him

"Huh..?"

After spitting on his sword, Yi Zaha proceeds to dance around his new slave. Hopping and smiling, swinging his arms in incomprehensible ways never seen before. You wonder if this dance of his would make more sense if he just had some music.

"Isn't that an executioners dance?"

( tl/n: during the joseon dynasty, executioners performed a dance and sprayed alcohol from their mouths before beheading a prisoner. )

You raise a hand to cover your mouth as you giggle, not expecting him to perform so suddenly.

It's such a sight to see the great Silver Phantom just standing in that awkward position, waiting for his death to come. He looks like he'd rather die than have an insane bastard dance around him under the moonlight.

"Great brother, I'm sorry for interrupting your dance, but..are you gonna kill that guy?" Monkey asks the question everyone thinks.

"No idea."

"Then, why are you doing an executioner's dance?"

"I just wanted to try being an executioner."

Your giggles are reduced to a smile as you watch him move around his poor slave, covered in blood and guided by the shine of the celestial bodies above. The winds blow, as if to assist his movements, his hair flowing like a river with each step he bounces to.

"A sword dance under the moonlight, an executioner under the moonlight, an errand boy if Ilyang prefecture, the freer of the black pearl fort, and the union master of the black rabbit union...that is who I am."

He says, somberly, forlornly, pessimistically, sadly—every word in the book of drama.

"Those sons of bitches are running away, though." Cha Sungtae sighs, pointing at the army that slowly sneaks away but stop under the pressuring gaze of Yi Zaha.

"You're acting quite calm aren't you, geezer? Do you have something to say to me?"

"I'm just maintaining a ceasefire, as promised."

"Let's just kill them, great brother." Tiger insists, but Yi Zaha turns his suggestion down. "Forget it. A ceasefire is a ceasefire."

The two elders turn back, "We'll...meet again very soon."

Zaha scoffs, "What a sorry excuse for a leader. Let's just meet again now, why soon?"

The only response is someone clearing their throat as the two forces leave.

"I will only treat those who come to me to surrender as such. I wonder if you'll have another chance to survive once you go back? Think about it." Yi Zaha offers, merciful towards the weak who know how to surrender.

"Tend to the wounded. The night is deep, so let's go back. stop the siege, and Gunpyeong, once you finish setting up lookout arrangements, rotate shifts with another executive."
