Quick side note. Elvis looks so damn fine singing this song; I'm deceased.

Trying To Get To You

As you entered the building, you probably looked like a flustered mess and you felt like one too. Austin just continuously had you awestruck, every time his voice dipped into that lower octave, every time his lips clashed with yours possessively, your weak heart just couldn't handle it. If you didn't have work right now, you surely would have jumped his bones. You tried to compose yourself, pulling your head out of the gutter, willing away your desire as he lead you through the halls.

When you reached the comeback set, Baz was there with the other producers and cast members, discussing the control booth scene they had been shooting. Dacre was there too, not currently involved in Baz's conversation to the crew members, turning to face you with a grin.

"Hey, Dacre. How did the shooting go?" You called out to him as you got closer. Dacre and Austin shared a greeting, before he gave your question an answer.

"Well, we were just about to take five and then we'll be heading back up for a few more takes. How did your break go?" Dacre made conversation, but his eyes flicked between you and Austin, brows set in amusement.

"Oh, we just went to get some coffee." You tried to fight the blush that threatened to bleed into your cheeks as you thought back to your alone time with Austin.

"Aw, you didn't bring me one?" Dacre joked with a grin.

"We'll get you one next time, bud." Austin said as he clapped his hand against Dacre's bicep in a friendly gesture.

Next time... Every time he said the words it filled you with hope, feeding into the fantasies of spending more time with the man.

"It's alright, mate. But if you insist, I'll take a cappuccino with chocolate powder." He retorted, his tone still playful.

"Cappuccino, duly noted." You giggled.

You shared a little bit of banter between the three of you, bonds strengthening as you enjoyed each other's company. Before long, your break was over and you were once again directed to have some more fittings done. You parted from the pair, letting them know that you would see them again later, before heading over to your dressing room. You were changed into several items of clothing once again, having the pieces pinned in place, occasionally being readjusted to fit you just right.

This time around, you found yourself standing still for over an hour, muscles aching more by the minute. It was surprisingly tiresome, just standing there like that. Eventually, Catherine was satisfied, allowing you to change back into your own clothing. Even with the coffee you had consumed only hours before, you felt exhausted, the caffeine having already ran its course. Come to find out it was already evening, having been on set since early this morning. You and your manager sent some messages back and forth, resulting in her waiting for you in the car.

You had to find Baz once again, just to check out as long as it was fine by him. It wasn't long before you found him, checking over the footage that had been shot that day, Austin hanging close by. He quickly excused you, bidding you goodnight and considering how busy they looked, you opted to leave Austin be. You figured you would speak to him later on anyway. As you excused yourself though, Austin had caught up to you, catching your elbow just outside the door.
