The short drive was only filled with music from Nicks phone and his voice yelling over the sounds, singing every song that played and complaining when Dream skipped a few.

Once we park in front of the school Nick immediately b-lines for his other "friend" Karl. I say "friend" because though both of them say their just friends, they always find a way to touch each other or sneak off together either at lunch or at parties. And the way they interact with each other is completely different from me or Dream.

But making me and Dream, who Nick had left behind, stop in both of our tracks, Nick doesn't just stop beside Karl, his completely collies into him. Kissing him. Dream and I look at each other with open mouths, forgetting our rivalry for a moment to take in the betrayal of our friend and quickly walk over to them.

While walking I decided not to mention it until they did but Dream had obviously chosen the opposite.

"When did this happen?" He says, his face contorting into a cute confusion. Cute? No. Moving on.

"Umm" Karl looks at Nick for support but he gives none, leaving Karl hanging. "Like two months ago," the fluffy haired brunette replied scratching the back of his neck.

Now I join since the bubble had already been broken, "Why didn't you tell me?"

"You?" Dream says, facing me. "He should have told me first."

I roll my eyes at him and say, "Really? Your really going to start with the 'I knew him first' thing right now?" My accent grows slightly with my annoyance.

"Not with you," he says, eyes trailing behind me. "We're talking later," he says to Nick before waking away. I follow his gaze and path and find the person Dream had been texting earlier, June. Dream and June had been dating for only a week. About as long as it took for him to get bored and pull someone else, whether it's one of the football players or a quiet nerd in the back. June is all over Dream, practically hanging off of him. The girl is obsessed, and everyone can see it, which will make the breakup harder for her. I almost felt bad for her. Almost. Dream could entrance anyone he wanted, and those he didn't.

I turn back to Karl and Nick finding both of them looking at me one gaze is sympathetic, and the other is full of an 'I told you so' type of sympathy.

"What?" I say, my tone slightly snippy and I regret it after I see Karl look down sadly.

"Nothing" Nick says. He claps my shoulder, making me lurch forward a little and I glare at him. "Shit, sorry." He laughs and Karl giggles behind him.

"Let's just go to class," I say, my irritation gone, for now.
