The long awaited day of the sports festival had arrived and Megumi still couldn't remove his cast from his leg so he was mentaly thanking Gojo for making him do that stupid training on one leg.
Present Mic soon started calling out the classes "AND IN THIS YEARS SPORTS FESTIVAL WE HAVE, THE STARS OF THIS YEAR, FROM THE HERO COURSE, CLASS 1-A, ALWAYS FROM THE HERO COURSE CLASS 1B! FROM THE GENERAL CLASSES CLASS C, D AND E! FROM THE SUPPORT COURSE CLASS F,G AND H! FROM THE MANAGEMENT CLASSES I, J K!" Preesent Mic yelled
After all the classes entered, Midnight came in and she was introduced as the judge "this years rappresentative student is Fushiguro Megumi, so if he may come up here." The students made way for Megumi and he thanked them and to say that the crowd was shocked to see a kid with a broken leg was an understatement.
"I wasn't expecting to have to do a speech but I guess we all need to do our best and point towards the top." Megumi literally said the obvious but that's fine because he couldn't tell them they didn't stand a chance against him or some shit like that.
In the crowd the heroes were commenting about the students already "Is he seriously going to participate with a broken leg?" asked the hero Mount Lady "it sure looks like it, he must be really confident about his abvilities" Kamui Wood stated "well, it didn't go well for him, the first part is an obstacle course." said Mount Lady "you shouldn't judge him so early, after all you still don't know his quirk" Best Jeanist said and Edgeshot nodded agreeing with the other hero
"AND START!!" Present Mic yelled and everyone started running towards the course, all except for Megumi, he first waited for the tunnel to be completely empty.
"WHAT IS HAPPENING? DID FUSHIGURO ALREADY GIVE UP ON THE RACE OR DOES HE HAVE A PLAN?!" Present Mic yelled when he finished saying it Fushiguro sighed, he didn't want all this attention, he put his hands together and summoned Nue and sat on top of him as he then started flying.
"WHERE DOES THAT BIRD COME FROM? COULD IT BE HIS QUIRK?!" Present Mic yelled "he's your student, you should know what his quirk is." Aizawa said with disappointment in his voice but Present Mic ignored him
"see, he has everything under control" Best Jeanist said to the two heroes that underrastimated Megumi just because of his broken leg.
"WELL IN THE MEANTIME WE CAN SEE THAT TODOROKI HAS ARRIVED AT THE SECOND COURSE AND IS STILL IN THE LEAD BUT IT LOOKS LIKE HE WON'T BE FOR LONG SINCE THERE ARE BAKUGOU AND FUSHIGURO CATCHING UP TO HIM." Present Mic yelled, he too was excited to see how it would end.
Soon Nue was able to surpass Todoroki and take first place "And Fushiguro has now taken the lead! He's not even taking into account his broken leg! But can you tell us why he has a bvroken leg in the first place?"
Aizawa sighed "he got hurt during the USJ attack and Recovery girl couldn't cure him due to the fact that he had recently broken his leg." Aizawa explained and Present Mic nodded.
Soon Megumi finished the course first, Deku came in second second, Todoroki came in third, Bakugou fourth and so on.
Midnight announced the second round and Megumi had the highest price and everyone wanted to get it to pass this round, he sat down, his leg was feeling hot, suddenly he was approached by Uraraka and Deku "hey, can we be part of your group?" he looked up and nodded, the two sighed in relief, they were afraid they wouldn't be able to find a group "Midorya, you'll be the one riding." the two were shocked by this, they thought he would be the one riding because of his leg.
"FUSHIGURO!!!" Megumi raised his head recognising the voice, he looked in the direction of the voice and he saw Hatsume running towards them "can I be part of your group?" she asked and Megumi nodded, there were ten minutes left andthey still didn't have a plan so they werekinda panicking.
"sit down and let's decide how to position ourselves." Megumi said and started removing the cast around his leg "I'll be in the front, Midorya will be riding and you two will be the 'wings'" Megumi said "but Fushiguro, your leg..." Midorya started saying but he was interrupted "don't worry, it'll be fine." Fushiguro said "oh, by the way, Power Lowder told me to give you back this." Hatsume said handing him one of his swords.
He inspected the material they used to stick it back together and smiled when he noticed that it was the same exact material as the sword "thank you, I don't know if it will be usefull now but thanks all the same."
"TIME'S UP!" Midnight yelled and they got into formation, the two class 1-A students were still a bit worried for their classmate's leg but they decide to trust him, after all the last time he came back in one piece.
"AND START!" Midnight yelled and most of the teams started running towards Megumi's
"ALL THE TEAMS STARTED GOING FOR FUSHIGURO'S WHO REMOVED HIS CAST AND IS NOW WALKING LIKE HE NEVER HAD ONE, BUT WHAT WILL THEY DO NOW?" Present Mic yelled
Fushiguro let Uraraka and Hatsume hold Deku and he summoned Nue and electrocuted them, then he summoned the well unknown's abyss and three toad like creatures appeared.
"FUSHIGURO SUMMONED HIS BIRD THAT EFFORTLESSLY STOPPED ALL THE OTHERS COMPETITORS AND NOW HE JUST SUMMONED FROGS WITH WINGS? NOW THAT IS SOMETHING YOU DON'T SEE EVERYDAY, AND THEY ARE STEALING HEADBANDS FROM THE OTHER TEAMS!"
Suddenly Bakugou's team started running towads them, Megumi disactivated the toads and grabbed the headbands "Uraraka!" Deku yelled and she then used her quirk on them "why are we running away?" Hatsume asked Fushiguro "I don't know, here you go Midorya." Fushiguro said giving Deku around six headbands and living him shocked.
Bakugou started going towards them "Uraraka, can you stop using your quirk only on me?" Magumi asked the girl "I don't know, I can try thought." she answered and Megumi nodded, he turned around and looked where his shadow was, fortunately it fell on Hatsume's head.
He put his hand on Hatsume's head confusing everyone and they were all shocked when he took out a wooden polearm "WHAT IS THIS? FUSHIGURO JUST TOOK OUT A WEAPON FROM HATSUME'S HEAD WHAT KIND OF MAGIC IS THIS?!" Present Mic yelled and Fushiguro wasn't happy with the attention he was receiving he waited for bakugou to get a little closer "Uraraka, now!" he yelled
Suddenly his body felt heavy which was a good thing because it meant swhe was able to disactivate her quirk on him he was now in front of Bakugou who tried to avoid him but he wasn't fast enough and Megumi pushed him with the polearm and Bakugou protected his head with his hands and activated his quirk breaking the polearm and smiled victoriously just to be greeted with a kick on his face which made the falling proces faster.
"AND BAKUGOU IS NOW FALLING AT AHNJ ALLARMNING SPEED, LOOK AT THAT HE WAS SAVED BY SERO SO NOW ONLY MEGUMI IS FALLING, AND LOOK AT THAT, HE SUMMONED HIS BIRD AGAIN." Present Mic commented, he's been mostly commenting on Todoroki, Bakugou and Megumi's team because they were alway's moving unlike the others.
"TIME'S UP!" Midnight yelled as the teams all stopped, they showed the rankings and in first place there was Megumi's team, in second place there was Bakugou's team, in third place there was Todoroki's team while in fourth placde there was Shinsou's team.
