Floating feathers [Pit x reader]

How it started

You hastily put down your phone and follow your panicking sibling. "(Y/n)!! The sky!! It's all weird!!" They shout while leading you outside. You look at them concerned. "What do you mean??" 
They point up at the sky and you notice a weird purple glow. And a huge rock-like thing plummets from the sky... You gasp. "What's going on--" the thing gets closer and closer. "It's going to crash- we need to go- NOW!" you hastily grab your sibling's hand and start running. You don't quite know to where, but you need to get to a safe place... 

Your legs start to feel tired, and you can see your sibling is ready to give up. Suddenly you fall over from a huge impact. Vines and trees start to grow everywhere, and the purple glow covers everything. You push yourself to the ground as hard as you can, in an attempt to dodge the multiple thick vines that cover every surface in the town. Where is your sibling- you try to look around in the small space you have, but can't see them anywhere- it all happened so fast- you didn't have the time to keep them safe- the vines already stopped growing that fast, and now seem to be intertwining themselves to create a thicker wall of plants. You don't even have time to think about what the hades happened, you just want to find your sibling- they warned you- you survived because of them- you almost trip on a vine but soon find your balance again and walk around the forest, trying to look for a sign of life... But there is nothing left... All buildings are crushed and reduced to nothing but ruins. Your home, the library you sometimes visited, even that church nobody likes. Rocks and vines are everywhere and it seems like nature has taken over years ago. There are no people to be seen- why... Why aren't there any people- why did you survive, coulnt you have just died with the others- tears start flowing down your cheeks. Everybody is gone.. it all happend so fast. If only it could go back to normal just as quickly.

Not having found your sibling you try to make your way out of this labyrinth of vines. The vines can't go on forver can they? You wipe away your tears and walk through small openings in the forest, hoping you will be able to get out. But what then? What if you get out? You have nowhere to go- no one is waiting for you- everybody is dead- 

It still doesn't feel real- it feels like it's all just a video game-like nothing you do or happens actually has impact on real life... Exousted from having to process all of this, you sit down on the ground and hug your legs gently. It's gonna be okay- you'll just sit here and wait till.. something happens. But nothing happens.

After what feels like hours of crying, you hear a faint voice in the distance. It seems to be a young boy. Is he talking to someone? Are there people alive after all? Questions are still racing trough your mind. You look in the direction of the voice and see someone cutting through some vines. You hesitantly call out to the person getting closer to you. "Hello?" A brown-haired boy appears from behind the bushes and sprints toward you. He seems to be around your age, but his clothes look like they are from ancient greek- he kneels next to you and checks for injuries. "This one seems to be totally fine!" He fixes his gaze on your face. This one? What is he talking about... you expect an explanation but instead, he asks a question. "Do you have any chocolate?" 

You look at him confused. "Chocolate? No?" Seriously is this guy okay? First, he talks to the sky and his first reaction to finding you is asking if you have chocolate? He chuckles. "I'm sorry, I should have introduced myself first. I'm Pit! Servent of the goddess of light!" He stands up proud and puts his fist in the air. "I'm here to- uhm- be cool! And defeat mean people!" He awkwardly rubs his neck. "I must seem like a total idiot-"

You stare at him and nod. "Yeah- you do-"

Is this dude delusional? Does he think he has superpowers or something? You study the boy standing there awkwardly, and notice white things on his back. Wings? Your eyes widen and you crawl back, pointing at the feathers on his back. "Y-you... Are those-" you stare at him in shock. Pit looks at you surprised. "You can see them?" He sits down on the ground and puts his hand on his chin. "I thought the mist was supposed to hide them from mortals?" He stays silent for a bit as if he is listening to someone. "Ooh, I see!" He exclaims. "She the magic of the reset bomb distorted the power of the mist! That makes sense- if you think about it long enough-" 

What the hell is he talking about? He smiles at you. "Uhm so yes hi-" he flexes his wings. "Pretty cool huh?" 

You chuckle at his stupidness. "I am just assuming this is a dream... but they look pretty dam cool." Pit smiles proudly. "Thank you! Also- what's your name?" You smile. "It's (y/n)!" He reaches out his hand for you to grab. "Well, (y/n), since we are friends now, you're coming with me! I could use some help..." You blink. Friends? Okay sure- it's not like you have something better to do- You take his hand and he pulls you up. "Let's go!" He yells and drags you with him, but quickly stops and leans closer to your ear. "Also, this is not a dream." He smiles and continues walking.
