Jin P.O.V.
She fainted. I guess it was kind of hard to bear that pain. What should I do now? I can't just carry her to her home. There will be people staring at me like, who is this weirdo carrying our girl. And it isn't like she's gonna wake up anytime soon.
So, I have a plan.
I took out my special glasses which I always carry with me for emergencies. I put in on her and there we go! Perfect. It doesn't look like she's sleeping at all.
I paid for the trip promising to take half the money from Yujin later, and placed her arm by my shoulder.
The house was like, about 30 steps away. So I carried her beside me like she was walking and hopefully, it wasn't weird.
Was it?
More like creepy.
There were some kids on the streets, which stared at us like ghosts. Well, maybe it was kinda sorta frightening to see a girl walking with glasses, blood on her shoulder and walking without actually walking.
But, 10 steps left for home. I reached the door and "What's up fools?" greeted me. I went in and placed Yujin on the couch. I went to her room to get first aid and came back, when I saw her sitting down on the couch.
"Jin? What happened? Where am I?" She asked, still dazed.
"Nothing happened and you're home," I said sitting down beside her, "Now turn around. Let me see that."
"It's okay, I—"
"It's not okay. You're a human, not a machine," I cut her off.
"Okay, just one small thing."
"What?" I raised my eyebrow.
"Here," she said, giving me my diary. I was beyond happy on seeing it again. Love at second sight!
"I'm glad you're happy. It paid off," Yujin smiled.
"Thanks," I took it and placed it beside me. "Now turn around for me."
Yujin P.O.V.
It was a little embarrassing to let down the shoulder of my shirt, but I had to.
Jin started putting antibiotics and ointment on the wound. I hissed in pain.
"You're going too rough on it!" I whined.
"You're too soft to handle it!" He snapped back. I chuckled inside. Where's the caring Jin he was a second before?
The pain settled down a little and I started calming down.
"Jin..." I softly whispered.
"Hmm?" he replied, his eyes fixated on the wound.
"Why were those guys looking for you?"
At that, his eyes went big and he hesitated to speak.
"I...don't know?" He stammered.
"Jin, be honest!" I insisted.
He sighed and made me promise that it was a secret only between us two. I gave him thumbs up and boy was it a long story. And the big thing was that...
...it was...
...UNBELIEVABLY...
...weird.
I mean, I don't know if my ears were going crazy, or if had Jin lost his mind. Cause it HAD to be. I mean, I intend to accept all kinds of truths and don't care if they're illogical or anything, but THIS just CAN'T be the truth. How can I sink into an ancient story of freaking WIZARDS and FAIRIES??!
