i received you sealed,
as if no one is allowed to open you
but me,
as if you brings the message
the world needs
the seal was not familiar at all
it has no emblem,
it was from nobody
i teared you open
waiting for you to bleed,
pulled you out of your
stained envelope,
and stared at your nakedness,
less impressedyou were written
in a crumpled paper
as if you were thrown
so many times, worthless,
like a trash
and you smelled
nothing close to jasmine
nor lavender,
like how i usually received my letters.
you smelled burnt hope,
and eagerness,
and passion,
and art.i read your greetings,
'dear universe' you said,
but i was never universe,
i was always a star, the dull one
i continued reading you still
curious about the kind of letters,
the universe gets
your words spoke to my soul,
like an old friend we haven't seen
in a while
you did not have
the best handwriting
but i understood your every line,
i felt the weight of your every stroke,
surprised with how fluent you speak your metaphorsmy heart started beating fast
as i got through your every paragraph,
like a revival,
it felt warm,
it felt coming back to life
a beam of light
slowly enwrapped me
as i reached your end part,
i was, once again,
twinkling in the night.- ☪
