Let The Games Begin

Hello Everybody! Welcome to the first chapter. I will try to update at least once a week. It really just depends on how motivated I am and whether or not I have the right inspiration. So help an author out and let me know what you think and what you want to put my characters through!

Love-Hate Relationship 

It's the end of my junior year of college and I can't wait to go back to my small hometown for the summer.

I'll be on my way home later this afternoon with my best friend Nate Evans. The trip takes 10 hours by car which can be pretty exhausting so I'm glad I can split the driving time with him.

I'm not exactly sure what's going to be more exhausting though, the drive or my best friend. We both come from the same town and we grew up together.

He's kind of an idiot in my opinion but it seems as though every girl on campus is willing to throw themselves at his feet.

I can't exactly blame them though, he's one of the best looking guys on campus and a star member of the wrestling team.

I haven't done much dating on campus. I prefer to stick to the books and just party with my friends whenever I have some free time.

Nate on the other hand goes through a new girl every week. So is the life of the school's star athlete. He's got an ego the size of a Cruise ship but has the skills to back it up.

He loves teasing me saying that I'll become an old lady with cat's if I don't start dating soon. It doesn't help that the person I miss the most back home is my cat, Allister.

"Lily, it's time to get going!" Nate yells from the other end of our apartment.

"I'm coming!"

Wait till he finds out what I have planned for the trip. He's gonna hate me but he is going to pay for all the times he messed with me throughout finals week.

Let the fun begin.

*Le Time Skip*

"I can't believe you did that!!!" Nate yelled

I was laughing too hard while pulling up to the hotel to respond.

He had fallen asleep in the car and when I noticed that there was a huge truck being towed I took the opportunity to get behind it and let out a huge blood-curdling scream.

Nate's face as he let out a scream of his own when he saw the truck was priceless.

"You deserve it after being horrible to me during finals week. That should teach you to scare me into thinking you deleted my final project. I should have killed you for pulling a stunt like that."

"Well mission accomplished, I think you scared 10 years out of me" He said angrily.

"Shut up you big baby, let's check into this hotel and get some rest, we still have a few hours to drive tomorrow"

He grumbled as we got out of the car and went inside of the hotel. I can't wait to see what other mischief we get into during summer break.
