The Element Manipulator (Ninjago fanfiction)

Chapter 1: Saved By A Dragon.

It was a sunny day in ninjago as the citizens enjoyed a nice hot day at the local beach... well... most of the citizens, the ninja were at their monastery, training and discussing about their golden weapons and how they hold the key to unlocking their true potential. While the rest trained, Cole announced over the clashing of training equipment that he was going for a fly on his dragon rocky.

"Well rocky, the water and air seems pretty good today" said Cole to his dragon, rocky bellowed with delight as he flew above the ocean. As they flew, Cole noticed a few skeletons terrorizing some scuba divers on a rock. The black ninja pulled his hood over his head, and took out his scythe, armed for battle. "Looks like we get to do something much more fun eh rocky"?  Said Cole, rocky roared and charged at the skeletons, "IT'S THE NINJA"! One skeleton shouted, while Cole delt with half the skeletons, rocky got the other half.

"GOTCHA"! Growled a skeleton, Cole had a split second to turn his head, before he felt a jabbing pain in the front side of his head...and he fell into the water, rocky shrieked in worry for his master and after dealing with the remaining skeletons, grabbed the scuba divers and flew off in the direction of the monastery, Cole tried his best to swim, but he was losing blood pretty fast, just before he lost all conciseness, he saw the silhouette of a fox like creature swimming towards him with beautiful yellow eyes.

Coughing up water and gasping the minute he gained conciseness, Cole slowly opened his dark brown eyes only to be greeted with a cold wet snout sniffing his face, a series of a concerned cooing noise meeting his ears. Cole had to take a moment to register what he was looking at, before his eyes widened. Standing just inches from his face.....was a dragon....but not the kind of dragon like rocky or the other dragons at the monastery. It had a snake like body with decent sized paws, red auburn horns adored it's head, two reddish orange whiskers on each side of it's cheek, soft delicate orange fur covered it's entire body along with it's tail that was bushy but had a white tip at the end, gentle yellow eyes stared blankly at the male as it chuffed air through it's nostrils, triangle pointed white tipped and black ears flicking every now and then, and finally, a brownish red mane went down it's head to it's back...it looked similar to a fox....but it was a dragon...a fox.....dragon?

"U-uhh...hello" stuttered the shivering ninja, the fox dragon blinked at him for a moment, before getting closer to his face and sniffed down his face, then to his chest. Cole squeaked and blushed out of embarrassment at the dragons inspection, and giggled nervously, the fluffy reptile made a weird "hnnnn" noise before coiling around Cole to keep him from getting any colder, Cole relaxed against the dragon and laid a gentle hand on the beasts delicate orange fur, "thank you for saving me"....he whispered, he chuckled when he got a purr in response, as the waves of sleep clouded over his mind, he soon succumbed to darkness.
